I liked this place but have multiple opportunities to improve. 1) You can't reserve for Fridays. Went once on Friday with a Seniors class and the were not prepared for the amount of people. If they had opened to reserve on Fridays this issue could have been avoided. This is a place to go with a lot of people since the main attraction is the lake, the kayaks, etc. 2) When you reserve for weekends through the web page you don't really know what tables you are reserving. So, when you get there they tell you that you reserved tables that are far distant. This could be avoided by providing a diagram of tables when people reserve online or allowing people to reserve only the quantity of the persons going an when they get there the restaurant can allocate the tables near each other. 3) This is the only restaurant I have visited that is kicking me out in 2 hours. They say that you have only 2 hours in the table. Don't understand why. YWhy I'm giving them a 3 stars? Because the food is awesome. The best churrasco is here. Very delicious food. The view of the lake and the rental cost of the kayaks and pedal boats is great. So, overall I would come back because of the food and that...
Read moreThis place is a hidden Jewell. The food is good, the atmosphere is really excellent, as it is the service. It is a bit out of the way but that is what makes it special. Now you are wondering, if that is so, then why the one star rating? And the answer is because the operating hours appear to be aspirational at best. First time here was Good Friday eve, and it was marvelous. So much so that in the following weeks we went three more times, the last time Friday, April 19th and, oh you cannot make this up, each time it was closed. Each time it was some silly excuse ONCE WE GOT THERE because, mind you, their website is not updated. To make sure they were operating I called and no one answered the phone but of course, that is pretty much normal in PR. So I went to their website and made a reservation. All looking good, but you already know what happened: we got there and it was closed because of “the rain”. Yes, in a tropical island where rain is present all the time.
We will not be going back and it is a shame because if there is anything we like to do, is spend out entertainment...
Read moreThis was one of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve been to on the island. The restaurant straddles a river. The restaurant opens Thursday to Sunday 4 PM until. The food was amazing and they sell some wonderful tasting Puerto Rican food. With views of the river while you’re eating your food or having some drinks, you cannot beat this experience. I recommend the passion fruit Mojito, kan kan bites and arroz mamposteao. Very delicious the ribs are great also. My waiter was Kevin. He was very attentive and friendly. This location has Canoe riding and zip lining. And plans to start ax throwing in the future. This location is also animal friendly. Very nice if you like the outdoors and great food and drinks. I was told on the weekends they have live music and also on the weekends Friday Saturday and Sunday you need reservations because this place will be jampacked with people. On Thursdays you do not need a...
