Panadería Carrasquillo — Restaurant in Gurabo

Excellent place, great bread, awful service. Perhaps the place started in 1903; but with the current level of service it will not last long. It took over 30 minutes for a ham, cheese, and egg sandwich when the place was not busy. There were 3 ladies working behind the counter that seemed extremely disorganized. There were customers being neglected in favor of others. One was highly upset about it and told them they would not see him again. The staff did not try to fix the situation they just went back to their conversation and cell phones. There were barely any pastries out. I’m a local and will give them one more chance. If I go back in couple of weeks and they have the same staff, I will not return.

Bread was great, I just don’t feel the female employees were very friendly. None of them offered a smile, one of them wearing a mask I could barely understand, not to mention I ordered large coffee’s and they tried to fool me giving me a smaller cup. Not even an apology or “have a nice day” on their behalf. Attitudes like that don’t encourage customers to return to...

This was an amazing bakery. It had several options of pastries, ice cream, and sandwiches. The service was great, everyone was very nice and welcoming! The fresh loaves of bread smelled fabulous and tasted even better! Hopefully, we will get the chance to come...
