This place has local flavor, literally. They use home grown organic veggies and herbs in their recipes. Local Michigan ice cream, too! The space is clean and crisp with a cool vintage phone booth near the entry. I loved the margarita pizza and ice cream flight. I didn't have to choose just one flavor! They use broken flakes of otherwise wasted waffle cone to top them. I love that they reduce waste that way. I got friendly and timely service during my visit. Highly recommend this place.

I'm driving back home to Indiana from grand rapids and wanted a nice local spot to eat and came across this! Nice sandwiches and ice cream selection!!! I got a great lakes classic (turkey) with cole slaw. Im pretty picky on my slaw... their recipe is delicious šŸ˜‹ I'll definitely be back if I'm coming back through this way.

These guys make a much better pizza than Dimaggio’s down the road. Yeah, a little pricier but well worth it. The Caprese salad was one of the best I’ve ever had - heirloom tomatoes and tender basil. What wasn’t good is they put kalamatra olives instead of the black olives I requested on one pizza and on their #5 pizza (tomatoes and basil), they left off the basil….1/2 of the ingredients. We had this to go, and I had figured the total up ahead of pickup. $53 (that includes the tax). They charged my son $65. Unless their prices have increased from a menu of 2 weeks ago, the only reason to charge more is the kalamatra olives - $3 for a topping while the black olives are their standard $2. But that’s only $1. They didn’t give my son a receipt. Bottom line it was actually well worth the extra money, at least for a tip for such fantastic ingredients. The smash burgers we ordered last week were very good. The fried pickles and mushrooms were not up to par comparatively. I hope they stick around - this...

Decent replacement for the old vegan Water & Wheat that was here prior (although this is not vegan). The food and service is way better than DiMaggio down the road but it doesn't take much at all to beat them.

Few suggestions: need to add alcohol, perhaps a beer garden, and some music and it would become a legend in the area.

Ditch the lettuce on your smash burgers and get a larger open sign as all too often people drive past not knowing it's open

Congrats on opening and having a good business and business model for this community while serving better food than most in the area. I look forward to supporting them and hopefully have a stable restaurant in the area albeit a tad spendy, but what isn't lately.

Give them a try next time you're sneaking into the private beach or hitting the public ones...
