Piccolino Restaurant — Restaurant in Hagerman

Such amazing food that we had to go twice. Everyone in my large party was extremely happy and full when we left. Family owned. Even the pasta tastes like it was made there. I am looking forward to my next trip through there so I can eat the Bolloco lasagna again.

I posted that review 4 years ago. My daughter and I have discussed it was worth going back simply to get the Bolloco Lasagna or Pasta. I recently went back there alone. Called ahead to discuss picking up 8 orders to go and mentioned I planned to freeze them to bring them home on a long drive. Ordered a stromboli. Received a calzone. The sweet tea there is really good.

Waitress was wonderful even though she dumped my husband's drink in his lap. Complete accident. Have only ever seen that really happen on TV.

Food is really really good. Felt like we were in a bar. Very loud people in there talking over each other while they were trying to speak louder than the child who was crying.

We decided to get away from the madness in Carlsbad and go to a fantastic restaurant in Hagerman, NM. The food is great; reinforced by the line of people coming in to get take out. The owners are super friendly and checked on our table multiple times while we ate. It was nice to receive such service.
