Continuing my mission to find the best burger in the tri-state area brings me to this amazing location After seeing nothing but 5 star reviews we definitely had to try it out !! On arrival I was a bit thrown off by the location but we can’t judge a book by its cover !! This place is definitely a gem !! When we walked in we were all greeted by such an amazing bunch of ladies so friendly and giving us detailed descriptions about the menu and even offering sample of there delicious smoked sausages !! Of course I ordered the smash burger tator tots and the homemade gumbo that I was told about . My wife got a great breakfast sandwich and by the way breakfast all day !!! Everything was so delicious right down to the house made southern sweet tea !!! Let me tell u about this buyum sauce !!! They should bottle and sell it delicious blend of spices and creaminess I’d give you ladies 10 stars if I could this place checks every box and we will definitely be back !! Absolutely one of the best surprises around. I am a huge proponent of supporting local businesses especially when it comes to food. I told my daughter and wife I was taking them to a new place for breakfast on Sunday. The drive is only 14 minutes away but it is in an area of town we rarely travel. Pulling up and seeing the outside, my family was unsure this was the it. As soon as we walked in and saw those smiling faces, we knew it was right the place. Extremely friendly, passionate about what they do, explained EVERYTHING wonderfully and most importantly, they were very sweet people. My wife got the 2 eggs breakfast, my daughter got French toast and I got the burrito with all of getting the smoked sausage. I would gladly paid 5 times their asking price, but was happy with their menu price. The smoked sausage was the best! The flavors were ones we hadn't tasted before. My daughter even asked how'd they make the taste so good. The hot sauce with my burrito took it to another level. We were very happy and satisfied customers that will definitely be back. Talk about a local, family owned business, that supports their community. I entered the shop this morning. I was panicking looking for cooking supplies/ingredients for a work chili cook-off happening TODAY that my bosses, bosses, boss was counting on me to participate in. We all know chili takes 10-12 hours of cooking to be made well. These ladies provided me their hand selected array of spices, and a grocery list which even included the aisle. I was able to quickly get the ingredients and through them into a crockpot that I was using a generator to power. Long story long - Your chili came in 3rd place amongst the 9 other family heirloom chilis that have been passed down for generations. I received a handshake from a gentleman thanking me for making the chili, and additional praises from others in front of upper management. The store bought chili and special ingredients may not have won gold, but this business definitely came through for me and deserve a gold medal for their willingness to help a stranger in their time of need.
