Hardee’s — Restaurant in Halifax

Went to Hardee's in Halifax, Virginia today with my wife and 3 young children around 1:45pm. We placed our order and sat down. Within just a minute or so heard an employee on the opposite side of the dining room cussing up a storm on her cell phone to whoever she was speaking to. My wife stood up and walked over to her and said "Excuse me, can you take your phone call outside? I have young children, and they don't need to hear this." The employee threw her hand up and said "nah". She then laughed and told the person on the phone there was no problem and continued with her vulgar conversation. At this point my wife called for the manager and told her what happened. The manager moped her way to the dining room and began to console the employee asking if she was okay. Never once asked her to leave the room, never offered to comp a meal or return our purchase which we had not gotten at this point. The employee began to tear up and say that my wife and I were harassing her and that she didn't leave because we didn't ask nicely. She kept saying "you didn't know me. I guess that meant she didn't have to think about her actions. The employee then asked whoever was on the phone to come get her because my wife and I were acting "all crazy". Absolutely ridiculous and you can bet that I won't support that business again. As a former hiring manager, I hope that Hardee's takes this encounter seriously and reviews it. If it were my business, I would refer my employee to further training on how to handle this sort of situation properly and I would terminate the employee due to the extent that she went. Next stop is a letter to their corporate office. I did have the manager reimburse me for my purchase and asked that they cancel my order. No apologies or any sort of remorse other than the employee who took the order, and she had nothing to do with the altercation. She deserves...

The service was horrendous. Cashier #1 started my order and because I hadn't decided what I wanted yet, I told her to start on my granddaughters' orders. Before she got that together, she disappeared. Cashier #2 had been standing with #1 the whole time and she didn't know where she had gone nor did #2 complete my order. My granddaughters had gone to the table with their orders and were half finished when cashier #3 arrived. She asked if I'd ordered yet and I told her mine was half done. She needed to start over since there was no incomplete order on the screen. No one had any idea of what happened to it. Then we went through the rigamarole of re-ringing up everything but placing only my meal on a tray. She didn't seen to understand what I was telling her. I had to point out the two meals at the table that were nearly eaten and explain that cashier #1 had disappeared in the middle of taking my order. Meanwhile... the lines were getting longer behind me without someone opening another register. I've NEVER seen such confusion and ineptness in this location before this. Just paid $27 for 2 sandwiches , rancid fries and hot flat drinks and waited 15 minutes in drive thru to get it . Every time I give them another chance they never fail to disappoint , unbelievable that they can find so many unqualified an uninspired employees in one franchise location . The hot oil vats are not being changed and are rancid , they either dont care or are not being allowed to change them. Rancid grease is disgusting and they had no ice , A poorly run operation in every way

Unbelievable that I gave them another chance and they failed miserably . Their hired employees are the worst entitled and lazy .Think "prissy"from the original "gone with the wind. After giving my order at the drive thru I waited 20 minutes in line then I drove off without paying and without my order .
