King Kone — Restaurant in Hambden Township

One of the few places where the quality is consistent every time! This is by far my favorite local ice cream business. Hershey’s ice cream is always a good choice for a plain hardscoop. However, the creativity of all the other options is unlike any other ice cream place around! I love trying all the different soft serve flavors. The Chunky Monkey is my go to splurge, while my boyfriend’s is the ever popular No Name. I swear every time he orders it other people in line gaze upon it in awe.... They don’t chince on the flurry add ins either! When they introduced their ice cream pies I ordered one for a birthday, the No Name pie was just like the original creation! By no means should anyone take this to heart when deciding wherever to come or not. The product at this establishment is great and is not a disappointment. The 3 starts fine from the cashier employees not being able to take a simple order. We ordered a brownie sundae as well as a snickers sundae and the nachos. The employees seemingly got confused and decided we order a snickers and not a s’mores sundae. We took it regardless and it was good but It was definitely not what we ordered and paid for not completely ate. The employees definitely need more training and/or commitment to the job if this place wants to actually compete anywhere bigger...

This ice cream shop is an absolute gem! Not only is the dessert beautifully presented, but it’s also incredibly delicious — rich, creamy, and topped with just the right amount of crunch, drizzle, and whipped cream. Every bite was a perfect balance of texture and flavor!

The setting is just as charming — I loved enjoying my treat against the backdrop of the colorful “love” mural. It gives the place such a fun, welcoming vibe. The outdoor seating was clean and comfortable, making it a great spot to relax and savor the moment.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this spot is worth the stop. I’ll definitely be back...
