Ok if you’re looking for some bougie patisserie this isn’t it HOWEVER, this place has the character, charm and personal touch that has been all but destroyed in our culture. Andrew is the best. His baked goods are a lost art and so is the feel of his shop. It is as unique and retro as he is and that is a GOOD thing. He’s one of the few left that knows his customers by name as they walk in and strive to make sure everyone is treated well sure he takes weirdly long vacations and leaves hilarious messages on his phone. But that’s the appeal of this bakery. They make Swedish pastries and bread that you can’t find anywhere. But above all it’s Andrew and his family run bakery. When I tried to pull out my credit card he said "Oh sorry we don't take cards, but if you don't have the cash you can come back some other day and pay." Getting to know this hospitable person, as well as pizza and bread, was my reward. Everything else was already sold out before me, unfortunately.
