Bob's Trading Post — Restaurant in Hamilton Township

Nestled nicely in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest in Redbridge Pennsylvania, you will discover Bobs Trading Post!

I have been patronizing bob's trading post for over forty two years and twenty of those years have been under the new management and direction of reastaurantour Pauline.

Let me tell you the menu is extensive..... It would probably take you the better part of a month eating here every day to say that you have tried everything on the menu.

From the extensive variety of pizzas you can order, to all the home cooked Comfort food.....that is as good if not, dare I say better, than mom used to make!!! My mom is no longer with us so I can say this with a clear conscience, and not get a spatula across the knuckles!

I will close with this if you have never experienced Bob's Trading Post, Then you definitely need to put it on that proverbial bucket list of life, because it's one of those amazing places that you happen upon in your travels, that you will never forget!! You can and maybe like myself for years past and future, make it the destination of your vacation!

The awesome choice of pizzas is great!! The perrogi and lasagna pizzas are definitely a favorite of mine. Getting ice cream after is also a fave. However it can be a bit of a wait sometimes. but there are benches for those that need, as they wait. Portions depend on whose doing the scooping. One day you'll order a small and it's worth what you pay.. other times you order a small, and it's like they've mistaken it for a baby. One day you'll ask for a dish. They give you a cup. But when you order it in a cup. They give you a dish. Again. Depends who took your order and is making it. Lol. All around tho. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're in the area. Shoot. Even a night at Redbridge campground, shoot on down real quick ( maybe 1.5 miles,IFthat, from there) for pizza at camp. (Be mindful of your left overs though, the bear like it just as much...

This message is for Pauline. I and my very good friend have been to this place where we usually stay for a one or two night and day stay, and we absolutely love the environment, the atmosphere, the accommodations, and mostly, the very courteous hospitality from Pauline and the staff at Bob's. Not to mention, the food is outstanding and if I could, I would give this a 10 Star rating. We look so forward to our next excursion to this fabulous place!! PS... We would also like to say hi to Mr. Bill, a great man and a pleasure to speak with.
