Hamilton Trails Golf Club — Restaurant in Hamilton Township

Just left Hamilton trails. My wife never golfed so she just tagged along with me and my two buddies. I decided to just pay for her because I didnt wanna bother explaining she wasn't going to golf. I asked if I could rent clubs. The girl said one or two sets? I said, "just one, we can share. The girl smiled and said that's fine and we walked out the door to our carts. All of a sudden a man came running out the door towards us and very rudely told us we need to pay ten dollars for the second set of clubs even though we didnt need them. The worst part is he yelled at us when he said it and several other patrons turned and looked at us. It was really embarrassing and I just cant believe he would come running out like that demanding ten more dollars. We just left the second set there. After golf we returned to the clubhouse and as I was about to leave, I asked a person, who seemed like a regular, if that man was having a bad day and she said, "he's the owner he's just like that". I was so upset it even affected my golf game, I just wasnt myself. Guy is a real jerk, I'll never ever go...

Garbage course. Waste of time and money. Don’t play here. First clue should have been wide open tee times. Showed up to play in the morning and got a bucket of range balls before we headed out. Guy inside assigned us a tee time and we took bucket to the range. Came out 10 minutes later telling us it was time to go out even though we weren’t 1/2 through the bucket. Told him we wanted to finish and he said he’d have to reschedule us like it was a big deal. Picked a tee time 20 mins later cause again (wide open times). Tee boxes were hard, fairways dry & missing grass, greens should be called browns instead. Asked for a refund and the staff couldn’t even get that right. Worst of all a staff member approached us at the end and said to leave a bad review because that’s all the owner cares about. Well..here you go. Better to not golf than go here.

He's not a liar I saw the whole thing. You were rude from the moment we walked in the door. And if you could have saved us money with the ride along you say, then why did you chase us out the door in front of our friends and that other couple? After we paid FULL PRICE and explained to you that I was just along for the ride, you still demanded we pay you outside for the other pair of clubs in front of the other customers. Like we were trying to get out of paying you or something? You got your ten bucks for the clubs that we left there because we had told you in the first place that I wasnt playing and didnt need it. He never used profanity at you, when we were pulling away he was upset about what just happened and how embarrassed we were!
