Delicious sweet fruity wines - don't worry they have dry white and red wines, and spirits too! Super extensive tasting menu with over 25 wines to choose from ranging from Sweet, Semi-sweet, Semi-Dry to Dry. They literally have something for everyone, So hard to pick! The menus have slightly different wine varieties, the Seyval Blanc dry white wine is featured on some of the menus. The flight of 6 wines served in a caddy is $9 - great deal and a bang for your buck!

As Sorrenti specializes in fruit wines, I dabbled into the semi-sweet wines. The fruit infused wines are a unique blend of grapes and other fruits like raspberries, cranberries, blueberries, peach, strawberries, watermelon, apple and even blood orange. The Peach Bianco white wine and Arancia Rossa infused with blood orange, and Watermelon Rose were a tad too sweet for me. The Raspberry Blush was tasty and pairs well with chocolate, bought a bottle! I also enjoyed the sparkling Salute which isn't too sweet and the house version of Prosecco. Bought a bottle too as well as the semi-dry Vignoles white wine, which was the featured wine of the month and received a nice 10% discount.

Fell in love with the candles shaped into a wine glass, wine scented bath soaps and chapsticks, and all the merchandise. Took the plunge and bought a Chardonnay scented candle and a sangria scented chapstick.

Enjoyed the tasting so much that I went back and bought 3 bottles of wine - Raspberry Blush, Salute, and Vignoles as well as some merchandise.

Great winery and delicious wood-fired Mamma's Lucia's pizzeria next door. The pizzas are large enough to share with 2-3 people. The Calabria pizza with crispy breaded eggplant, roasted red pepper, spinach, ricotta, and fresh mozzarella cheese is bursting with flavor! I LOVE pizza and have never come across a pie like this with crispy eggplant, soo good!

The Eggplant Neapolitan with ziti hits the spot! It tastes like eggplant parm with crispy breaded eggplant oozing with cheese and ziti noodles. It comes with a nice side salad and a large plain pie cut up into crispy breadsticks. It's a very generous portion and enough for 3-4 people to easily share. The side salad and breadsticks served as a nice app for the family.

The pond and amble seating with picnic tables and small tables is really nice and perfect way to relax and unwind with a glass or 2 of wine and some pizza! I would skip the sugary sweet sangria and just go straight to the wine. Went back twice for the winery and pizzeria - great for families and enjoyed a few rounds...

Arrived at Cherry Valley and the first thing I noticed were that the grounds were beautiful. Lots of flowering bushes, pretty gazebo, etc. When walked around a bit and took pictures. We then went into the wine tasting location. As soon as we walked in, we see the women working there drinking several tastings of wine. I found it odd since we had just come from another wine tasting from a nearby winery and the staff wasn't drinking at all. The young woman who attended us (brunette) was nice, but not overly friendly. We felt like we had interrupted their happy hour, at 2pm on a Friday (today). For every tiny bit of wine she drizzled for us, they poured themselves at least triple the amount in their own cups. They did not describe the wines at all and we felt like we were intruding. The other woman there (middle aged dirty blonde) had several tasting cups herself. It was all very odd for us. The wines were ok. All of them were a bit bitter for our taste. Again, we were also comparing them to the wine tasting we had come from and looking back, their wine was much better.

We proceeded to the restaurant, Mama Lucia. Staff was friendly but very slow. Waitress seemed overwhelmed. Our highlight of today was the wine and cheese pairing appetizer ($12). Although the wines were ok, they paired very well with the cheeses, nuts and grapes. It even comes with a card on how to eat which cheese with a particular wine. It was a fun experience for my husband and I. We ordered the prosciutto pizza. The prosciutto was very dry. Everything needed a touch of salt. Pizza as ok.

If I came to this vineyard again, I would skip the tastings and just get the wine and cheese plate only. On second thought, we would should just find a different winery or restaurant that offers a wine pairing plate. And to top it all off, we saw the same middle aged woman come into the restaurant and started drinking the sangria wines behind the counter. Don't think we...

I could write a novel on the many ways Sorrenti Cherry Valley Vineyards' "Wedding Planner" ruined our September Wedding, but there isn't enough space. DO NOT GET MARRIED AT CHERRY VALLEY VINEYARDS! To start off, my place cards were literally found thrown on the ground and never used because the "wedding planner" wanted it her way. Everything we wanted, she wanted her certain way. I even included a visual diagram for place settings as well as place cards, and she managed to put my parents and my husbands parents and immediate family all the way in the back of the room completely backwards! The flowers on the property were DEAD and wilted, to which we had to replace on our own dime. The pond was completely full of algae and wasn't even running and we had to request for it to be turned on and cleaned. We paid for a package that included our names on the digital board, and did not find out UNTIL an hour before I walked down the aisle that it was never working in the first place. The "dressing room" was LITERALLY a room inside the pizzeria that I could see through the linen they hung out at people eating dinner! The wine we gave out for our wine favors had the incorrect wine flavor and even the quote we wanted on it was wrong! What they wont tell you, is that the pizzeria and wine tasting building will also be open for your Wedding so you share the parking lot too. One of our guests even witnessed one of their customers trying to peak in our card box! We never received any kind of apology after all the problems THEY caused. To this day, I look back at our Wedding as a disaster because of Cherry Valley Vineyard. We will never go back! PLEASE DONT GET MARRIED AT CHERRY...

🍷 Wings, pizza, and dessert heaven at Sorrenti’s in Saylorsburg. The Poconos food scene just keeps getting better! Would you try the Bang Bang sauce or stick with garlic parm? 👀🔥 #PoconosEats #Saylorsburg #FoodieTok #PizzaLovers #WingsWingsWings

More than just the usual winery and wine tasting. My wife and I visited Sorrenti’s on an early Monday afternoon, a side trip from the Poconos resort we were vacationing at for the week. After tasting some really good whites and our new favorite blush wine, Arancia Rossa, we walked over to Mamma Lucia’s Pizzeria. The first thing you see when you walk in is the wood fired brick oven. The restaurant has a cozy feel and the service was very good. The restaurant wasn’t very busy so the larger and more formal dining area was closed off. We opted to start with a glass of peach Sangria, one of the 5 sangrias offered and the Italian cheese plate as an appetizer. There are a dozen or so different types of personal 12” pizzas on the menu. My wife chose the Calabria, a vegetarian pizza, with roasted eggplant, peppers, spinach, ricotta and mozzarella cheese. I tried a slice, it was excellent. I had the meat lover’s, without the pepperoni. honestly, one 12” pizza could feed two people. We asked for a box to go since we could only finish half of what we ordered. If you like your crust a bit crispier, just ask the waitress to leave it in the oven for an extra minute. We’ll do that next time. Overall, we loved the wine choices but honestly, the late lunch stop at Mamma Lucia’s Pizzeria made it a memorable trip. We hope to go back with friends someday soon and share the experience.
