Never again! Waitress was rude and unpleasant...not friendly at all. I ordered a Chicken Chesapeake sandwich with sweet potato fries. When she brought my meal she asked if I do sweet potatoes...she said she told them sweet potato fries but they gave me a potato instead. I told her no, I really don't want that. Instead of taking my entire plate, she reached across my food and took the potato and butter and walked off. Brought my fries less than 3 minutes later, the ones that were completely cooked and not burned, were good, but most were either undercooked or burnt. Husband's fries were cold. She took my plate before she knew I was actually done....I just finished shifting through trying to eat the "good" fries, and had to get my hands out of the way because she grabbed my plate so fast. To go order....wrong! I guess I should have checked before we left. I ordered corn fritters and got French fries instead. I didn't even bother asking my son how his burger was, hopefully he liked his fries, even though he wanted corn fritters. Yeah, we definitely won't go back, worst experience ever. 1st time at this Family Restaurant and we will NEVER go back. AYCE Crab legs and Oysters....out of oysters at 5:55 when we arrived. Poor management in ordering that you run out in such a short time.

All you can eat shrimp first batch of a full 10 inch dinner plate were nothing but soggy mush. Ask for a new batch and got them along with a few fried shrimp and peeled them all but was too full to eat them since two sides were included which one was a baked potato. While waiting on husband to finish his couple crab legs requested a small container to put the maybe 11 shrimp in and was told NO. You cannot take out. Mind you we just paid $47.99 for the crab legs and Shrimp was $23.99 which we paid. The sad part is it was the first and only plate of shrimp we received but instead of letting the customer take what they paid for you would throw away first. Trust me we will not be returning and I would not recommend this place to any of my friends or family. Really wanted to love this but it was just OK. Been looking for a restaurant in the area where you can get homestyle meals and thought this might be it. Tried it for the first time on Easter Sunday. Made the 25 minute drive to wait 10 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. Limited menu as they were doing a buffet for Easter. I had the buffet which was $22 per person which I don't have a problem with and don't think is too much if it's good quality. My disappointment is that for $22 dollars at a restaurant called The Family Table, I didn't expect to be eating canned corn, canned green beans, canned yams, and instant mashed potatoes. There were 4 different meats on the buffet and they were OK but not great. The chicken breasts, turkey, and roast beef were all a little on the dry side. The desserts were awful. Low quality pre-prepared brownies and cakes. There was plenty to eat, and it was warm from the buffet, but the quality and freshness of the food left much to be desired for the price....
