Don't let my review dissuade you from trying this cute little restaurant. I will preface that this was my first time going there, so it's entirely possible this was not the establishment's normal. So, here we go: I had the Tour of Hamilton which consists of J.C. Penne (penne pasta w/ sausage, red sauce and mozzarella), lasagna and fettuccine Alfredo. The sausage had a sweet flavor to it and was almost spongy, like it was boiled in sugar water. Not spicy like a typical Italian sausage. The lasagna tasted ok. The red sauce was, in my opinion, just like on the penne. Which would be fine if it complimented both types of pasta, but it really didn't. It was just there. The alfredo was more buttery than creamy cheesy. My piece of garlic bread tastes like a burnt marshmallow. Not sure how one accomplishes such a feat with garlic bread, but it happened. My son got a full order J.C. Penne. He thought the sausage was oddly flavored as well. However , he likes his garlic bread. The overall menu is small, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, just make sure what you serve is absolutely stellar, which, for me, it was not. There is nothing I tried that I haven't paid for or made for myself that was better. My boy had a slice of cheesecake w/ strawberry glaze. He said the cake part was ok, but the berries were sour. Not much worse than sour strawberries on your cheesecake. Which is reason enough to not contaminate cheesecake by adding toppings of any variety. Have cheesecake the way God intended: Naked. I got a canolli to go, so I shall not speak to that. Appearance wise, it looks really good. I'll try it again, but not anytime soon. Again, it's entirely possible the cook(s) were new, trying a new recipe or just having an off night. I'm by no means disappointed, but I was expecting better. Especially given the prices commanded. The staff, while attentive, were slow, if that makes sense. Basically they were quick to ask if we needed anything, but were slow in the return. Except with my change from the bill. Some people like that. To me, it felt more like Hurry up tip me and leave. Perhaps I'm reading too much into it, but you can't be picky-choosey with what you're going to be efficient at while in the service...

Pasta Villa is nothing short of amazing! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm smiles and an inviting, cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The ambiance is perfect for a romantic dinner, family gathering, or just a casual night out with friends.
But the real star here is the food — wow. Every dish bursts with authentic Italian flavor, clearly made with love and fresh ingredients. The pasta is perfectly cooked, the sauces are rich and flavorful, and the portions are generous without being overwhelming. Their signature dishes, like the homemade lasagna and creamy chicken fettuccine Alfredo, are out of this world.
The service is top-notch too. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making your experience exceptional. They’re always ready with a great wine recommendation or a tip about the chef’s specials.
Pasta Villa isn't just a restaurant — it's an experience. If you’re looking for delicious Italian food that feels like it came straight from Nonna’s kitchen, look no further. This place is an absolute must-visit. Can’t wait...
Read moreMy mother In Law and I went to Pasta Villa for lunch today after some shopping. We were very excited to go and give them a try. The waitress didn’t know the soup of the day, didn’t know the dessert of the day (mind you it’s Thursday), we continually had to ask to have our drinks refilled. After asking what soups were available, being given the choices and saying ‘they all sound so good’- no one- not our waitress or the staff who ended up telling us about the soups mentioned there is a special where you can try them all. Garlic bread was fantastic. Caesar salad was just like a packaged salad off a grocery store shelf. Pasta was lukewarm. Soup was hot but didn’t taste any different than opening a can of soup off of the shelf at home. Prices were lower than Olive Garden but so was the service, taste and quality of the food. I was so bummed. No...
