Dined here while at a quilting retreat - one of only a few places in Hamilton. The restaurant was clean, service friendly, clean restrooms, good sized portions, very good warm chips with salsa. The margaritas were generous and the shrimp cocktail ( cocktail de camaron) large enough to be the entree with numerous pieces of avocado in the sauce. The only drawback was the amount of breading on the chili rellenos. The peppers were smothered and this took away from the potential good taste. The price of the meal does depend on the margaritas - one is large and monster is a cute tag.

Unfortunately not a good review. Ordered a nacho Supreme to go. The worst I have tasted. The chicken and beef were cold, there was a white liquid in the bottom of the container, the chips which were under everything were very soggy. The entire dish was very 'mushy. Very unappealing both visually and taste-wise. One simple cure would have been to put cold ingredients (sour cream, tomato, lettuce), hot (meats, refried beans) and chips in separate containers.

I got the Lunch #12 and it was some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. We were all amazed by our meals, especially anything with queso. The red sauce was also blissful. We are still raving about this food hours later. Delicious and very affordable. Make the trip!

I love chili rellenos. If was introduced to them at Alvarez in Palmetto Fl. Theirs came pre-made from Tampa (more known for Cuban food).. I hate to say this but they came breaded so they were deep fried but they were incredible! Now they no longer have those and serve the more traditional version. I've had them at various Mexican restaurants but they were always just ok. Last Thursday my wife and I ate lunch here and was the highlight of the trip to Quilt Town USA. I scanned the menu and only got to combo #3. There it was, Chili Rellenos. The chips were warm and the salsa had great flavor. The food came quickly. #3 was the stuffed pepper and a crunchy taco. I also ordered the side beans and rice. All was good but the chili was spectacular, at least as good as my original favorite only done in the traditional way. I'm used to over-cooked mushy chili. This was firm and bursting with flavor. Now I'm back in Florida and craving my new favorite Mexican restaurant. I imagine everything on the menu is good. My wife loved her chimichonga and...

Great little authentic Mexican place! We had the chips and guacamole as an appetizer. Warm, crispy chips that weren't salty (a theme in this review). That lets you really taste the fresh guacamole and the corn in the chips. We ordered the small, and it was plenty for two.

I had the Fajitas "El Barrigas," my wife had the Fajitas de Cameron. Again, NOT salty like so many other places. The food came out HOT on iron skillets. The portions of both the entree and the side fixins were huge - plenty to have for lunch the next day. The vegetables were well-caramelized and cooked through. All very fresh-tasting and delicious.

Our server was a little timid, but he warmed up as the meal went on. The place was clean and the seating was well-spaced, allowing for good distance between patrons.

Overall, an extremely positive experience compared to other restaurants that have been in this space. It's a great asset to Hamilton. Don't expect common tex-mex, but if you enjoy authentic Mexican, you'll love...

Hear me out. This place is clean, the service is great. But I'm biased because I grew up in Colorado. I've traveled a lot and have eaten some of the best Mexican food around. I was in Hamilton checking out all of the quilt shops.

Just happened to be coming back and needed something to eat. I was not overly impressed. Like I said the service is great, the food is mediocre. It does not have spice to it. I ordered a taco and a cheese enchilada and a tostada. Everything was cooked fine but was just bland.

I hate leaving bad reviews. I was the only one in the restaurant because it was kind of an odd time of day. The cheese in the enchilada tasted like something that may have been microwaved. The enchilada sauce tasted like tomato paste. I know a lot of people have raved about this place. I'm telling you if you know what good Mexican food is this isn't the restaurant for you. This is for people who don't like spice and have a...
