The BlackTop — Restaurant in Hamilton

Hey y'all if you haven't been to the BlackTop yet you're definitely missing out on some of the best food in Hamilton! Some of my favorites are the Hamburger steak and Catfish and I had Lamb chops for the first time and they were excellent! I also love the Meat Loaf sandwich, it's a big slice of meat loaf covered in cheese and and a red sauce served on a hoagie bun. Man it's excellent!! They have several specialty cheese burgers and sandwiches. The catfish is tender and flaky and taste great! The lamb chops were also great, that surprised me, don't be afraid to try something different! The plate was only $16. too. Everything comes separate or as a plate and the sides are great too. I haven't tried everything yet but everything I tried was very good and affordable too. The service was great and fast and friendly to! Just found out they have Crab legs too!!!...

Our Seniors Group -S.W.A.T. - from Blooming Grove Baptist Church went on a lunch outing here. We had a group of 13. Gabby was our main waitress and she was absolutely fantastic! Olivia, our 2 waitress, was truly terrific as well!

Just moments after we were all seated, our drink orders were taken. They were brought out incredibly quickly!

Dishes were pointed out and suggested. The food is made fresh and we could definitely tell! Props to the cooks!

Orders varied from fried catfish to hamburger steak to Reuben sandwiches and even grilled cheese. EVERYTHING was delicious and cooked and seasoned perfectly!

Gabby just had to come out and tell us re the desserts!! Lol. There were several to-go cheesecakes ordered!

This will for certain be on our list of places to return! The decor is clean and modern. They have a lovely salad...

We went Sunday after church. It wasn’t real busy. We were seated in the back area. They forgot we were there. After being there a long time my husband went asked if anyone were gonna take our order. They had forgot we were back there! I had the 8oz filet. He had ribeye. Mine was perfect. His was as tough as a rubber shoe heel! The waitress finally came back around and asked if the food was ok. I said yes. He said well I’ve ate half of it because I was so hungry! I guess it’s ok. The more he tried to cut up the tougher it got. When she came back 15 min later, he told her, “I tried to eat this but every bite is getting tougher!” She took the plate. Came back and said if the steak was replaced he’d have to pay for it and they would NOT be removing it from the bill. He paid $20 for a piece of meat that he couldn’t chew up! We...
