So I came across finding this place by a random post on fb. Decided to give them a try. It's definitely like a little hidden gem. Doesn't look much on the outside, but inside is very well done. With being right on the runway, you possibly get a chance to see a plane/ helicopters take off or land. I got to see a helicopter take off while eating my breakfast. The staff was friendly and attentive. I ended up ordering the country fried steak and eggs( comes with home fries. I added pepper and onion for extra $.) Also ordered a side of bacon. Food overall was good and cooked well. Idk what the exact going rate for bacon is, but I would like more then 3 pcs for about $5. Overall great little spot and definitely will be making a trip back. Also, they do have outdoor seasonal seating. Also weather permitting, obviously. Update: 11-9-24 Brought my friends son out to breakfast here(his first time). They were on the busyer side but still got us sat pretty quick. We both ordered the Meat Lovers Skillet. Him a chocolate milk, me coffee. Food came out in good time and was delicious. I finished mine, but he had some left to go home with. Staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely be back and maybe try.something non breakfast. Lol. Update: 4-9-25 Stopped for lunch and finally order something besides breakfast. Lol So I started with a bowl of their chili. It's decent, but good. Pay extra for shredded cheese, sour cream, jalapeño or red onions. For my main plate I ordered the cowboy burger and the potato salad. I also ordered a side of fries for an upgrade. Fries were good. Potato salad I didn't care for really at all. The taste just didn't do it for me. Overall, I'd say it was still a good visit. Got to see a plane land and a couple take off. 9-27-25 Stopped in for Brunch. I got their steak & eggs platter with extra side.of bacon. Everything was great & steak was cook perfect. First time I actually sat out on their patio. Very nice sitting area, especially when the weather is nice out. Always nice to enjoy a meal outdoors when able.

I love hidden gems 💎 and this one did not disappoint! We enjoyed breakfast while watching planes land and take off. The view of the runway was great. The food was amazing. The server was superb! It's definitely a nice treat while traveling with my family. I was super excited to see cream chipped beef on the menu. That is one of my personal favorites that isn't served where we currently live. The homefries with onions and peppers added were delicious! My children enjoyed the chocolate chip pancakes that looked like a pig. It's such a fun way to serve a children's dish! â˜ș We even walked down the road after breakfast to get a better look at the planes and helicopter.

Nestled at the Hammonton Municipal Airport, the Apron Cafe is a favorite spot for both pilots flying in and local diners looking for a unique atmosphere. The cafe offers a classic diner-style menu with a focus on breakfast and lunch. Atmosphere: The main draw of the Apron Cafe is, without a doubt, its location. The dining area provides a front-row seat to the airfield, where you can watch small planes and helicopters take off and land. This "fly-in" appeal makes it a popular destination for private pilots, but it's equally enjoyable for anyone who appreciates the view. The cafe itself has a cozy and casual feel, befitting a small-town airport diner.

While the view is nice, I would not recommend bringing your child here, as they seem to be bottom priority. After more than a 30 minute wait, the youngest person at the table was the last to receive food, which came out so far apart, the rest of the food was cold. Party of five in total. We also never received several items we ordered. The manager was very polite and did her best to correct the problems. Unfortunately, our server did not seem to care, and told me since I no longer live in town, I didn't need to worry about ever returning. I'm from the area orginally. It's pretty sad to feel like an outsider in your hometown, especially when introducing the younger generation, which will be the life blood of all small business as...
