B & D Creamery — Restaurant in Hampton Township

Was looking forward to trying this place for the first time, I really regret it it was a waste of $40 for 2 people to eat. I got the steak sandwich and an order of fried mushrooms. The meat had a funky taste and the breading on the mushrooms wasn't even cooked all the way. As far as I know you don't get any sides with your sandwiches because our waitresses asked if we wanted any, could of at least put chips on the menu with the sandwiches and then charge upfront fries etc... my son got a blt which was so small and he did a half order of fries and they weren't cooked all the way. They were out of coke so we ordered a root beer and I am not sure what it was but it definitely was not root beer. Needless to say we took a bite asked for a box so I could give the food to my dogs and I went to taco bell. I hate leaving a bad review but this place was a disappointment. I wouldn't even give it a second chance. A little unsure about the staff as well. The owner came out and introduced herself and I think she is also the cook but I'm not sure. Went there with the wife and grandson for breakfast. We got a couple omelettes and some pancakes. Food was decent and cooked to order , it wasn’t wow blow you away good but we were happy with it . My only complaint would be how long it took for our food when it seems like at that moment ours was the only order in . One omelette and the pancakes came out but it was another few minutes before the other omelette came out . Not sure who was cooking but the wait staff was both seniors, they were friendly and took good care of us but I think we waited almost 30 minutes for our food and didn’t see any to-go orders they were filling and the other people in there before us had their food right when we sat down . Could be a real issue if they got really busy ? I will definitely go back and give them another try, seem like good people there and I would like to try a dinner and...

Really wanted to like this place. We take our children out to eat often usually at Buffet, but they are older now, so they need to learn how to order and wait to be served. Led us to seek this place out a smaller restaurant with nice wait staff we could tip well when we leave. The smell was that of drywall. Service was slow ordered an appitizer 2 burgers and a kids meal. There was one other table, and they had already been served. It took over 35 minutes. I thought the burger was fine, I only ate half. We took it home. Later, when reheated, it tasted as if it was coated in drywall dust.. I ended up tossing it out. The other burger we left there as it tasted off.
