Pine Creek Public House- Allison Park — Restaurant in Hampton Township

It's sad !! We've been here twice . The first time was a new server so our orders were messed up . Okay we get that. Tonight I said to my husband let's try it again. It's so close to our house we would love to run down get a sandwich and a drink a few times a month . So tonight we ordered ribeye sandwich with Orings and a rueben with fries and bier cheese. Everything comes out but my rueben bier cheese and mayo . They bring the mayo and some cheese 15 min later but I still don't have my rueben. Finally see our server . She never wrote it down. I tell the other server it's a mess everytime we come here . She comes back to the table with a message from the owner saying he's picking up our check and for us not to come back !! I want to speak to Brandon the owner he approaches me all swelled up " no I don't want you coming back " ( customer service at its finest ) " Id rather loose a customer than a server " my husband comes out and explains to him what happened. He said he was a third party and kept talking about this bier cheese when all I really wanted was my sandwich. Yes we know it's hard to get help but throwing out paying good tipping customers because they didn't get what they ordered?? We talked to our server we didn't know she was new . We told her we had no issues with her we wanted to tip her the price of the check and her tip . We waited for 10/15 min. My husband asked for her and they said she left . We went on a Friday night at dinner time 5:30 (two families for a group of 6). The bar had about 8-10 patrons and there were about 2 Hightop tables and one other table of four. There was one waitress who doubled as the bartender- and what appeared to be one cook (who brought the food out). We didn't receive silverware or napkins when our apps came out- and no one came to check- luckily we could eat them without. Our dinner came about an hour and fifteen minutes later- had to look for silverware and get some from the cook when she came out for someone else. The bartender was busy with the bar- and the regular customers who appeared quite friendly and handsy with the poor girl.

Also, bring cash. It is a $2 upcharge for card purchases.

It was decent food- however not worth the two hour dinner trip. Usually when I spend 2 hours at a restaurant/bar, I am enjoying drinks and food- this wasn't the case, most of the time we were sitting waiting for food or someone to return to fill our drinks, bring utensils, or take our order. The menu was pretty much mostly typical bar food with 1-2 exceptions and I feel like if they became more creative with the meal options it would greatly improve the menu. The onion rings we shared have a VERY delicious batter and "petal sauce" and I would highly recommend them. It was all reasonably priced for today's economy, clean, and has a lot of large TVs which would be good for going out to watch a game. Our service was amazing, our short haired female server made sure to check on us at appropriate times without bothering us excessively and as a former bartender and server I am well aware that the service we received was impeccable. I would definitely recommend this location to our friends for a fun night out or simple meal.
