Golden City II Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Hampton

The worse chinese food I’ve ever tasted.. I was led to this place by the 4.4 reviews.. my 3 children and I were HIGHLY disappointed.. my shrimp fried rice was mushy, dry and overcooked.. the eggroll was ok.. I also ordered chicken wings.. which didn’t taste fresh, and were extra fatty. I ordered shrimp and broccoli w/fried rice to eat for my lunch at work the next day… but the shrimp fried rice, and chicken was so nasty… I didn’t even open the shrimp and broccoli, I just threw it away. I ordered 2 large shrimp friend rice, one small shrimp and broccoli, 4 chicken wings, and 2 egg rolls.. wasted $40.. u would think because I ordered so much food they would have made sure it was top notch.. I felt sick not too long after I ate it. I’ll never go here again....

Over 20 years ago, the owner's daughter, Nora, was my daughter's classmate in preschool. My daughter request we have dinner at Nora's. I explained we can't just invite ourselves to someone's home for dinner... she informed me that Nora's family runs the 'China" restaurant near school. She was four, it was cute, so we went. Fast forward 20 years, they are on my speed dial, we still call it Nora's and the food and service are fantastic. New family same quality. Portions are sizeable. Flavors are great, their wings...

Tonight, I ordered 3 chicken terrayaki sticks, small order of fried rice and steamed dumplings. It came to $18. 76. Well I left my wallet, ID cards, money everything at work on base. I had $17.00 in cash inside my ashtray in my truck. I picked up my order and told explained to her to take an order off of the chicken terrayaki off. Well she did and still gave me the extra terrayaki chicken stick.. Thank you for helping me out tonight. I will make sure I will repay that $1.76. I'm grateful. Thank...
