First time going to this establishment And it didn’t disappoint everything was tasty I had the turkey wings Mac cheese collard greens the only reason I gave four stars was because the collard greens had no flavor and they were a little sweet but I’m not complaining I still ate them that Mac and cheese was on point but the star of the dish was them turkey wings they had me licking my fingers I haven’t had wings like that since my moms and hers would make you want to slap your momma and punch your daddy I didn’t forget the yam’s damn them yam😋 I even tried the oxtails they were so delicious tender rice and pea some of the best I’ve had here in the 757 let me tell you if your looking for something for some good better then good delicious soul food you better head on over to Raineys and get you some of them turkey wings you will not be disappointed trust me try some of everything...

The food was good, but when I showed up around 2 PM, most of the menu was already sold out and they were getting ready to close early.

The wait was pretty long too. I heard a few people say they'd been waiting over 30 minutes. The staff explained that they fry everything fresh, so it takes time, especially when they’re handling multiple orders. I think most people understood that. Still, I’d recommend calling ahead or ordering in advance to avoid the wait and make sure they have what you want.

I’ve been to a lot of soul food restaurants, and as much as I like the owner. The food didn’t touch my soul… and I like to say a great chef myself, so if I try outside food I’m looking for fiber licking good. I didn’t get that here, wings were basic, lol seasoning, Mac was old, fish was good but too many lil bones, took forever to get the food. Tea was damn it awful, old and you could taste the oldness. Just wasn’t my cup of tea. Including the atmosphere, it was giving after church dinner, and yes I love church. Has potential to be more… hoping they change...
