Johnnie's Backwoods - Hanover — Restaurant in Hanover Township

I’m not even sure where to start. My significant other and I went in for a drink and dinner on a Tuesday. The people working (I asked) were the owner and his wife. Worst service ever! We’ve been there several times and had great service. We ordered our drinks, the owner had a call from his cell phone. He answered that first. We ordered the special and something for myself. My boyfriend had his gone before I had gotten mine. The wife- in the back swearing, mad, screwing up orderes. Finally gives me mine. Then walks out with no gloves, scratching her sweaty face. Mind you, she had no gloves on the entire time. Then after we ate accuses my boyfriend of waking out on a tab when it wasn’t him. Argues with her husband the entire time. Mad she has to work, while being a mess. Total chaos!! No thanks!!!!!! They’re terrible business owners.. and I can’t belive the mess...

The food was great. The cook came and took our drink order after we sat 15 minutes while the bartender made shots from Google instructions for the 4 people at the bar. I walked over to the kitchen and gave him our food order through the window. The bartender (I'm told was the owner) was trashed. She was drinking shots, dropping stuff all over the place. She Couldn't remember who ordered food. Slurring her speech. She locked the doors ast 930 when they close at ten. Needless to say... We paid for the food, (to the cook, that had to ask her the prices as he rang stuff up, so I know he wasn't pulling double duty as a server ) tipped the cook and left. Called and ordered food for carryout. We have only liked the food especially the Philly cheese steak and sandwich and ordered a side of mushrooms to go with it. Got home only to realize the sandwiches were only half the size for the same price. It was mostly bread and part of our food was missing. Called and was told we had never ordered the food we were missing even though we were charged for it. Asked if we could just return the food since we were highly disappointed in the food and hadn't touched it. We were told we could not return the food nor get a refund or credit for the food we never received. Will never go back there again for a meal. I would not...
