I previously left a 5 star review, however after speaking to Isabella and the GM at Bartlett Morretis I am extremely disappointed in their level of service. I had called to see if there was anything they could do about my deep dish pizza order since they had put black olives in it last time. I thought since I had the receipt, pictures, and record of my visit there should be no issue at all. Instead they treated me like someone who was trying to take snag at free pizza which was not the case at all. Just wanted to see if there was anything they could do to make up for us not being able to try the deep dish last time. I was frustrated but not once did I argue or act rudely. They simply just did not want to help me. “Went here on Tuesday night with a reservation for 8 people. They had our table ready on time and waitress was very nice. Given that the restaurant was extremely busy I understand that they didn’t have time to spend a lot of time at our table but our waitress would literally come and not come back for 10-12 mins. Every time we asked for something, we’d get it 10 mins later which was very annoying but she was very nice and I’m sure she was trying. Food was a 10/10 and the price was crazy good! We paid $46 for 2 orders of garlic bread, two 16” pizzas, and one 12” deep dish pizza. Unfortunately we got olives on the deep dish and my fiancé can’t stand olives, and since it would take a long time to remake we just left it- our server Heather apologized. Other than price, pizza was GREAT, it was well done like we asked for and flavor was impeccable. Will definitely be revisiting!”

We tried again to give Moretti's a try, but that was a big mistake. They can't even cook pizza right anymore. On Wed., 12/14/2022, at 5:32 p.m., we ordered one 18" house favorite pizza and one cheese pizza. When the order was delivered at 6:23 p.m., and we saw what was delivered, we called back at 6;26 p.m., asking for a manager. We waited on hold for 8 mins. Within these 8 minutes, the call was returned to the receptionist/hostess three times; they never said, please continue to hold; they just put the call back on hold. I hung up and called back at 6:35 p.m. and spoke with Brian or Brad, the manager; I explained that the pizza was burnt and looked like someone had taken a bite out of it. The manager did not think this was a problem. I explained to him that we had 4 kids under the age of 8 who were hungry. He said he could return my money for the cheese pizza. I asked him how that would help me with the four kids being hungry he said he could have a new pizza delivered immediately. The new pizza arrived at 7:15 p.m. Moretti's has changed so much it is sad we used to enjoy going there. If you have the time and read some reviews, you can see I am not the only one who used to like Moretti's and doesn't.

I had to call again and wait even longer. When I finally got through, the staff didn’t even apologize—they just said the driver had to return to the restaurant before coming back. The food eventually arrived at 9:20 pm, but it was awful. The bread was completely soggy, and the pasta tasted rancid from sitting too long. Terrible experience from start to finish. Poor service, no accountability, and disgusting food. I absolutely do NOT recommend this place.

WHITNEY WAS OUR SERVER 02/28/2025 AT 3:30PM. BARTLETT LOCATION....I ORDERED CRISPY CHICKEN ROMANO. I ASKED TO SUBSTITUTE MASHED POTATOES FOR ANGEL HAIR PASTA WITH LEMON BUTTER SAUCE. WHITNEY BROUGHT THE WRONG FOOD TO THE TABLE WITH MASHED POTATOES NO PASTA. WHITNEY STATED " I'LL BRING A SIDE OF ANGEL HAIR AND LEFT RIGHT A WAY. I THEN NOTICED WHITNEY AT THE BAR TALKING TO OTHER STAFF AND PUTTING ON A JACKET. I WALK TO THE BAR AND ASK FOR WHITNEY'S ATTENTION AND STATED, "CAN YOU PLEASE BRING ME A NEW ORDER FRESH BECAUSE I'M STILL WAITING FOR THE PASTA AND MY CHICKEN BREAST IS GETTING COLD". WHITNEY STATED " YOU CAN EAT THE CHICKEN WHILE YOU WAIT FOR THE SIDE OF PASTA". I THEN STATED " CHICKEN BREAST GETS COLD AND HARD WHEN NOT EATEN FRESH, AND I WOULD LIKE TO EAT MY CHICKEN WITH MY PASTA ON THE SAME PLATE BECAUSE THE MASH POTATOES ON THE ORIGINAL ORDER YOU BROUGHT OUT HAD SOAKED UP ALL THE LEMON BUTTER FLAVOR AND PLUS I DON'T WANT MASH POTATOES ON MY CHICKEN AS IT WAS ALL OVER THE DISH. THE MANAGER CAME AND DELT WITH THE SITUATION GOING FORWARD. MY HAPPY HOUR WASN'T HAPPY AT ALL. I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN A FREE DRINK OR SOMETHING FOR MY TIME WAISTED AND WHITNEY'S BAD ATTITUDE AND NOT BEING ABLE TO EAT WITH MY PARTNER TOGETHER. The staff was friendly, the service was okay, the Chicago style pizza was good but it came out less than hot, and there was something like an explosion or I thought a car had hit the outside deck while we were eating.

This was my first time there and I typically like Chicago style pizza pizza, so I ordered a large knowing we were going only going to eat three out of the eight pieces. The pizza has been better at home when I heat it in the air fryer because I can heat it until the cheese is melting. In the restaurant it was warm, not hot.

We got there at 3:50 p.m. and the closer it got to 5:00 the busier got. I was under the impression maybe they had a server call in sick or something because it seemed like our server had more than enough tables. She wasn't able to spend much time with us She was nice and she did her very best.

When the floor shook when we were eating the table next to us moved up about 3 in I would guess. Some of the items on their table tipped over. My date and I immediately stopped our conversation to look around and find out what in the heck happened. I was convinced a car hit the outside patio and shook the whole building. The way the floor moved though it seemed like it was an explosion in the basement. None of these make any sense, since there was no damage to the exterior of the building and no ambulances were called. What's most odd about this is I asked my server about it and I asked the two hostesses at the front door about it as I was leaving. None of those three new anything about it, heard anything, nor knew anything. I don't know how they couldn't have.

I would probably go back if I were in the area. I would be sure to tell anyone in my group not to wear high heels because the floor is like cobblestone. They have the right idea. A lot of people go there. Every experience can't be five stars but it doesn't make them bad, either. My date and I enjoyed our conversation thoroughly. This location is the worst! Would never recommend it to anyone. From the atmosphere, to the service, to the drinks and the food. I gave everything one star, but if there was a way to do minus one star I would’ve done that. Went there on a Wednesday night, which was mistake number one, they had bingo going on. There was a customer yelling from her booth at the bingo caller, and the bingo caller was yelling back. Did not make for great atmosphere if someone was just there trying to enjoy a drink at the bar, totally out of control. Waited what seemed like 10 minutes for the one bartender to even acknowledge that we were sitting at the bar, and the knowledge of how to make drinks was extremely lacking. The food was horrible. A simple bowl of mashed potatoes was cold and very bland, and it was served to us by the bartender who then disappeared for another 10 minutes without giving us utensils to eat with. I had to leave my seat go find another server to ask for silverware. My husband came back from the restroom and said there was a sign in the restroom advertising $5 martinis. He mentioned that to the bartender she informed him they are not $5 they haven’t been for 6 months, now they are $7. He went back and took a picture of the sign and showed it to her. She told him that she could not change the price she would have to get the manager to which my husband said don’t worry about it will pay the $7 not a big deal. We ordered a cosmopolitan which basically tasted like a martini glass, full of vodka and nothing more. To top the evening off a manager did come up to us and in his exact words told my husband “ I adjusted the price on your martinis to $5 but next time they will be $7. Not sorry about the miscommunication, thank you for bringing it to our attention. We basically felt like he was threatening us to be aware the next time you come in the martinis will be $7.
