Try Camille’s breakfast (or lunch we suppose) and you’re bound to be Happy! She served us the largest buttermilk pancakes we’ve ever had (says she has some issues with portion control) and it was awesome! Eggs and bacon were great. Plus Camille can catch you up on how the Cowboys are doing in the State high school playoffs while she’s cooking and taking orders. Great stop of the highway! Good luck against Knox City Cowboys!

Stopped here four lunch and the food was great!!! The people were so nice and even though it wasn't on their menu, they made grilled cheeses for our kids. They also had toys for the kids to play with while they waited for their food. We will definitely be stopping here again the next time we are going through Happy.

My wife and I stayed here at the campground behind the Lunch Box, Camille the owner is a super nice lady and cooks a awesome meal. If you are traveling in the Happy Texas area and need a RV site or some good food I highly recommend the Lunch Box. Camille's inspires everyone to "make good choices today"

Wonderful place, great atmosphere, and the owners and staff treat you as family. Happened in for breakfast on a hitchhike to Colorado Springs, and felt immensely refreshed to smell the kitchen churning out the delightful culinary smells of from scratch breakfast and hardwood smoked bacon, and the cheeriness of the staff melted away the heavy weariness and bitter bleariness of the road. If you want a reminder of how diners once were years ago, don't pass this diamond in the rough by. I pray with all my heart their kindness is returned a thousand...
