Another disappointment from Seaside!!!
The "credit" they supposedly gave me for screwing up my take out order last week could not be found for some reason when I attempted to make an order this week. To be fair, the one star rating is a culmination of many, many orders here over the years, not just this latest experience
With so few choices of restaurants down east, I've continued to use them for occasional meals despite the fact that my orders are incorrect or missing items about 65% of the time.
I know its my fault for giving them yet another opportunity to disappoint but I kept telling myself, "surely they will get it right this time".
I mean how bad can you screw up an order for a cheese burger or shrimp basket? I guess that's assuming that whoever takes your phone order actually gives it to the kitchen to be made because that has failed to happened on more than one occasion.

Read moreI recently had the opportunity to visit Seaside Galley on Harker’s Island, NC, and it was an unforgettable experience. This charming local spot combines great hospitality with mouthwatering dishes, making it a go-to destination.
The menu features a variety of fresh seafood options, with the crab cakes standing out as a highlight. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the cakes were cooked to perfection. Their clam chowder was also rich and hearty, a must-try if you visit. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made the meal even more enjoyable.
Seaside Galley is a hidden gem with delicious food that captures the essence of coastal Carolina cuisine. Whether you’re a local or visiting Harker’s Island, this restaurant is a must-stop for a relaxing and satisfying dining experience....

First time eating here and when ordering the food, the women who took our order was extremely rude and did not ask what sides we wanted. We thought they all came with fries so when we got the canned vegetables we went back in and told her the issue and she said "sorry he didn't say what sides he wanted, a side of fries is $2.50" after we'd already paid around $30...
