We went for breakfast. It's a bit back off of Duss. Connected to a hotel/inn. The girls there were nice, polite but slow moving and quiet. The menu is basically eggs and pancakes for breakfast, sides of bacon sausage, ham and corned beef. $5 for the tiny bit of corned beef on a saucer was not good, plus it was dry and not very warm- probably reheated. The sausage gravy and biscuits was great, flavor size and price. My kids enjoyed their breakfast. BLT was good but didn't have mayo or anything on it. Atmosphere- it's was just a few older guys in there talking about religion and politics, drinking coffee. Quiet otherwise. Dated, patched seating, napkin under the table to level it... I didn't use the restroom, I think they were in the hall outside the little restaurant area. Just a low key, quiet place to eat. We probably wouldn't go again just because it wasn't worth the $60.

Found this place while searching an area for 24 hour restaurants on google maps as we were looking for someplace that wasn’t close to PNC ball park but yet on our way home to Buffalo. When driving here in the darkness of an unfamiliar neighborhood. We were second guessing ourselves. Especially when there’s a long dark driveway leading up to the restaurant. We were starving and just said we’re here and they’re open. Please… don’t let that stop you! This diner is definitely a hidden gem! It’s very clean inside. Our hostess/server/cook was super friendly. The food prices are ridiculously cheap. The fries are fresh cut and amazing! The double 1/3 patty burger was one of the best I’ve had in a long time! This place is definitely going to be a stop on any future trips to Pittsburgh.

First time here and was pleasantly surprised. There was plenty of seating, The service was quick, and their food was excellent. It's your typical diner fare with egg, bacon, home fry or hash browns, that you can order in a variety of combos or their special which we got was a bowl. Everything was cooked perfectly, and their corn beef hash was also very good. Bill for two of us was around $35+Tip. The sausage Biscuits and Gravy, something I order at every breakfast spot was huge! You won't leave here hungry. The location is a lil hidden, but go thru a parking lot and connected to Ambridge Inn Hotel you'll find this wonderful diner.

Not really sure what happened with the place as it used to be one of my favorite local restaurants. The food was great but the kitchen worker was not very nice. Our waiter was trying his best to do his job and we could hear her telling him to move the “f-ing” food so she had space. During the duration of our visit, I felt so bad for the waiter and felt second hand embarrassment for him because he was being treated so badly. She then told us customers to act like adults and not children after one person in our group sang a jingle off of a commercial that was playing. Completely unprofessional. Let me also say that we were the only people in the place so it’s not even like we were disturbing anyone else there. Then there is a sign on the females bathroom door saying only females are allowed into the bathroom and that you are on camera. This made me think that there are cameras in the bathroom and I felt unsafe. Tracks end used to be a family friendly place and after what I experienced today, I would never bring any of my family members...

Horrible food & even worse service!! Stop by wednesday 3/22 with my two kids (2&4) for lunch. It was our 1st visit.

I ordered them chicken tenders and french fries. One with chocolate milk and one with a lemonade. I ordered french toast and 2 eggs with water for myself. The kids like chicken tenders so much that they actually ate the leftovers at home. The Fries, on the other hand, were flavorless and greasy. The french toast was so dry that I couldn't even eat it and left my plate sitting there. The waitress never came back to ask how everything was or if we needed anything else. She walked by the table a couple of times but only stopped when she dropped off the check and boxes. I had to get up and go to the counter to ask for more napkins. After reviewing the bill, I realized that she gave me a large chocolate milk. I didn't realize there were even 2 sizes because I was never given an option. The chocolate milk is for a toddler a small would have been more than enough, considering he didn't even drink a fourth of the one...
