Okay, just another way to experience northern food compared to southern food. I guess they do their barbecue a little different. I found it to be a little greasy. Compared to the way we prepare it down South be specific. South Carolina. That doesn't mean it was bad. It means that it was different and it may be very appealing to the way people like to eat. They're pork here, the ribs we're very good a lot of meat on the bone. Good barbecue sauce. Enjoy them. The desserts looked excellent and I say, looked because Trying to cut all sugar out of my diet. Added sugar, that is, if you're doing that, don't look at dare desserts, and think you're going to try a little bit. I watched a very beautiful Petit woman. Almost devour a piece of red velvet cake. And when I say a piece, prepare for your Portion, because it's going to be large, it looks like a quarter of the cake, ha ha. Call for reservations if you plan to dine in. The food was very good, the drinks were great as well. My issue was our service. When my family and I arrived it was busy and it appeared that there was only 4 servers. We were seated quickly and our order was placed quickly. It took 45 minutes to get our drinks (Mostly soda and unsweetened ice tea), 55 minutes to get our appetizers, and food came out quick after the appetizers. Our family had the assumption that our order was forgotten about and they quickly tried to fix it. We were checked on constantly after that.

We have had brunch, lunch and dinner at Harkers. We love this head cook. He comes out to say hello to us every time we are there. He always has a smile on his face and makes us feel like he is happy to see us. We always enjoy the food we have eaten there and enjoy the little twist on plain dishes. The servers have come to know us and they give us a very personal experience. They are pleasant and very helpful in choosing what to get.
