I had the most remarkable experience at Shoney's 1809 Roane St. Harriman Tn. this past Sunday morning, and it's all thanks to an incredible waitress, Brittany Rich . Her compassion and quick thinking truly made a difference for me. I could have easily ended up in the hospital!
I only just arrived with my wife when I suddenly experienced a hypoglycemia event. The worst one I have ever had! It was a busy morning, and the restaurant was bustling with activity. Brittany noticed my distress and immediately began to ask us what see could do. She not only showed genuine concern but also demonstrated remarkable kindness throughout the entire ordeal.
Without hesitation, she rushed to my aid and brought me a glass of juice to help stabilize my blood sugar. It didn't stop there, though. Brittany continued to check on me regularly, ensuring I had everything I needed. She never made me feel like a burden, even though I'm sure she had many other tables to attend to.
Her compassion and unwavering support went above and beyond my expectations. In a moment of vulnerability, Brittney was my beacon of hope, and her actions made all the difference. She exemplifies what exceptional customer service should be, and I can't thank her enough for her care and quick response during a...
Read moreFirst I would like to say that I love Shoneys but this particular visit put a bad taste in my mouth. Lets start by saying that everyone has a right to their opinion but when your actions lead to CUSTOMERS contracting YOUR NASTY SICKNESS because you refuse to wear a mask, that's where a problem lies. Majority of the servers wore masks but this young girl working the front register, refused to wear one. *SIDE NOTE: SHE JUST CAME BACK TO WORK FROM HAVING COVID AND STILL REFUSED TO WEAR A MASK AND THE STAFF WAS OKAY WITH IT. Me and my family wore our mask except when we had to eat and drink. On our way out to go and pay, we heard her say how she just had covid and came to work with out a mask on and how she hates wearing them because they are pointless and so is the vaccines. Again she has her right to FEEL how she wants but when your interacting with others who may or may not feel the same way at a place of BUSINESS AND NOT IN THE CONFINES OF YOUR OWN HOME, there is a possibility that you could spread what ever it was that made you sick. Long story sliced, I ended up with omnicron. That will be my last time...
Read moreI do food reviews for my YouTube channel and Shoney's in Harriman hit a homerun with this one! Ok a buffet is a buffet, and Shoney's is about as standard as you get, American cuisine and all of it you can eat. So the question comes down to the service and quality. First off all of the staff were more than friendly, helpful and courteous. My waitress checked in on me several times throughout the course of the meal. But most impressive was the care that the staff took in maintaining the buffet. Every two minutes or so there was someone there, stirring the food, cleaning around the pans of food. I even saw them throw away a half used pan of food and bring out fresh rather than mixing the old in. The Shoney's in Harriman is THE gold standard for the Shoney's line. Thank you for a...
