Well, to start with, the advertisement on the light up board misrepresented what it was showing. Next the girl at the drive thru was rude because she read a list of the different types of combo #11 fast and i did not hear all of them and i am half deaf. She repeated what she said in a rude voice like i was a child. Then, we pulled up to the window, paid and got 2 of our 3 drinks. After a bit, she looks at me and said you are just waiting on food right, i said no, the food and a frosty. Then she she said well what flavor in that rude tone like she already gave it to us. Then she saw it on the counter and gave it to me. Then we got our food. Well, we thought we were getting the new bacon jalapeno fries with our bacon jalapeno chicken sandwich like it was shown on the light up advertising board. We got a small fry. The fries were not really even warm. My sons meal was a burger and he said it was not tasty at all. This is what he usually gets when we go there. I did the survey on our visit and have been waiting on a phone call from corporate, but i guess they do not value a customer's experience. It has been about a week now. Mcdonald's cares more and they are roughly across the street. I will not go back and will tell everyone i know to avoid this Wendy's if they ask me about them.
Update: I contacted Wendy's twice and they have my phone number and my email, and i still haven't recieved a call or an email. . This just shows you on how they really care for their customers. I am not asking for my money back or to be compensated with another order. If they fix the problem, that would be fine by me. But being ignored by the company, i will go to Taco Bell, KFC, Subway, Hardees or McDonalds which are in the same area. Give my business to a business that cares more. I am not saying do not go to Wendy's, i am just...
Read moreI noticed people in the dining room so i went in. I stood in line and while waiting the manager began taping signs on the door that the dining room was closed due to being short staffed. I assumed this wouldn't appliy to those already inside. After i placed my order and paid i was told that my order would be to go. I then asked for.my money back. I hope the others who were in line did the same. I certainly hope that everyone boycotts every restaurant that is drive thru only. I heard from someone who knows the athens wwndys hopes the dining area never reopens. I dont understand how a dining area has to close due to low staff. The staff generally stays behind the counter and the dining area is pretty much self serve. Its not like they wipe down the tables after every customer leaves a table. Not everyone is able to use a drive thru. Some of us have to drive company vehicles that are too large for drive thru. There is always online ordering but who wants to spend their lunch hour sitting in the company vehicle trying to eat without a table let alone not being able to idle the vehicle due to company policy. To go orders also eliminate drink refills. Im through with wendys and i would like to encourage everyone to boycott restaurants that are...
Read moreThe food is decent but the service is horrible. The employees are so rude. They either don’t speak or are short and hateful. We’re not speaking of one instance here either this has been the past 5 times I’ve been here the service has been terrible. There’s a man probably in his mid to late 40s that usually works in the evenings who is the biggest jerk I’ve ever encountered. My daughter, son and I were pulling in the parking lot at 10:55 pm it was late I realize this and we didn’t know the lobby closed at 11 but the gentleman I just spoke of ran over and locked the doors right before my daughter got to the door and he just stood there and laughed. I guess he amused himself by being rude to a 13 yr old child. But when I walked up to the door to confront him he could no longer see he literally went Ray Charles on me. All I can say is this jerk better be glad her father wasn’t with us or I can assure you he would not have been laughing long. I will not be going back...
