North 42 Bar + Grill — Restaurant in Harrison Township

When I walked in everything was fine, it was smelling good and looking good. When me and my friends sat down a nice waitress came and gave us menus she was very nice and then asked us what we wanted we all ordered the same thing to make it easy she said we are the easiest customers she’s had . We were delighted but it wasn’t until we got our drinks that everything started going down hill. When we got our strawberry daiquiris we tasted them thinking the we’re going to be as good as the service, that was not the case. When we tasted them there was little to no flavor. When the waitress came back to take out order we all got pancakes and because there was no flavor in our drinks we all asked for lemonade. She said “that will be right up.” We thought that meant a 15-30 minute wait . But no it was about a 45 minute wait and not only did it take almost an hour people who came in 20 minutes after us with the same order and same amount of people got there food before all 4 of us. We got bored so we went to the arcade to pass time . We thought after being in the arcade for a couple minutes our food would be out . When we went out to check out food it still wasn’t there . After waiting 55 minutes out food came out. One side of the pancake was hard and the other was soggy and still no flavor and the flavor that was there was melted butter or the syrup that we put on. Also there was bugs everywhere which I can’t complain about that much because that’s not there fault but still. The waiter also told us there is no chocolate chips left but when a person who came in 30 minutes after us got there pancakes they got chocolate chips. Unbelievable. We also got fruit that had no flavor especially the pineapple. Over all this experience was a 3/5 and I hope you guys won’t have to go through...

BEWARE… you are not sitting by the water, or I should say you ARE sitting by POOL water. This entire dining experience was a nightmare. We called ahead to see if seating was outside by the water = yes, was there a wait= no, so we went.

The bad:

Dining is with uneven tables with massive spiders underneath them next to their pool. Our server had to get under the table to get rid of them since they were going up and down on their webs near us.

A loud did I say LOUD singer and guitarist were playing and definitely said many F bombs and had inappropriate conversations with the audience, many kids were there.

Food was an easy order, BLT (no flavor, unripe tomatoes.. how can you screw up a BLT?) with fries and the other order was cheeseburger sliders, onion on the side and instead of fries a house salad. What was served was the BLT with fries and sliders with onion, fries and side salad with onions on the side and no dressing for the salad. The server knew the order was wrong and said sorry. There wasn’t an offer to do anything else about it.

The good:

We were there for a Father's Day brunch. The restaurant was severely understaffed, there were very few food items items available and what was available was not done very well. The roast beef carving station was unmanned for periods of time and finally when a small roast was brought out it was raw, blood red and only slightly warm. The small desert station contained small donuts and pastries that look as if they were Enteman pastries right out of the box. We expected so much more and were very disappointed. Not worth the price...
