Gizzy’s Pizza — Restaurant in Harrogate

We had a "Brooklyn style" pepperoni pizza. The pizza was so spongy and tasted a little rotten. The crust was as flavorful as a communion biscuit you get on a Sunday. As a New Englander and a certified pizza enthusiast, I was not impressed at their attempt to create a "Brooklyn Style" pizza. It tastes like how how garbage smells, if that helps make you understand. The tables are 90% pizza holders and encompass the whole table, eclipsing anything you on the table.

And I feel like the dough and the cheese tasted old. I can't verify that they make the raw pies and freeze them overnight and then add toppings and cook when ordered but if they do, that's some fast food bs and it kinda makes sense with how it tasted. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Just get crappy papa johns, there's little difference.

P.S- The country music was so damn loud...

Sat at Bar and ordered drinks and the Meatza Pizza. The only taste on the Pizza was the toppings, very little sauce and undercooked. Way overpriced at $22. Although, i was impressed by the mixture of parmesan , oregano and red pepper to sprinkle on the Pizza, It was needed. Asked for marinara sauce and was brought a dish of cold tomato sauce. Service was also lacking. Two bartenders who you would have to wave down to get a refill. They were very occupied conversing with other employees, eating at the bar and on their phones. The ingress/egress to the parking lot is awkward and dangerous. Turning in from N/B 25 E the lines are not properly painted into a turn lane positioning you correctly to enter parking lot. View is limited and obstructed due to slope. The State needs to complete a study and fix this before a serious...

Great beer selection, but unfortunately the beer was all flat both times I visited. Need to adjust the co2 levels or temps. NY Pizza was awful and tastes like a bad premade kit. The thin crust was ok but still the worst pizza around.

Went there to watch nfl on sunday but instead they had music videos or college volleyball playing on all except one little screen.

The service was bad, but it only recently opened so that’s kind of expected. Charging for items we didn’t receive, missing items, wrong orders, etc. They were out of or already stopped selling all the appetizers we tried to order as well.

Fix the co2, throw out the pizza recipe (or more likely premade or kit) and use quality ingredients instead, and put NFL on the TVs for nfl sundays and I’d go back. Otherwise it’s not worth the...
