This is one of the absolute best dives in all of Southern Illinois! Small diner with and open kitchen. The best little burgers you could ask for. They also have Midwestern comfort food to the maximum. The chicken fried steak is beyond serious. The prices are great. I stop here any time I’m ever in the Flora area, or if I know somebody is driving through I’ll have them scoop me a bag of burgers. Julians is the best place in Flora to have lunch or dinner. The food is always delicious and will fill you up. Mondays special roast beef manhattan with mashed potatoes, vegatable and dinner roles is the best manhattan I've ever had the pleasure of eating. They also have the best milkshakes ever. No frills. Great portions. Nice staff. Not from this town, but was passing through at lunch and stopped in. Everyone there knew each other and was super friendly. The service was immediate and the food was hot and fresh. The restaurant is a little run down, but I think that is part of the charm to it.
