Based on the website, I was expecting a bit more upscale but it was still nice. They had a live singer when we were there. It was so loud that we opted to go sit outside so we could actually have a conversation. It was hard for the person taking orders to hear us. Ordered a pizza and some wine and had a really nice evening.
The pizza was very good. The wine wasn't as good as wineries up around Geneva, and actually tasted like it had seltzer mixed in which gave it a carbonated feel to it. It's hard to beat the rich taste of Catawba wines.
It's a really nice facility and would be great for a wedding reception, but I'm not sure we'll be back for a relaxing evening if they continue to blast off-tune singers like they did.
I would not recommend this place for a wedding. The owner booked a craft show on the same day leaving all the guests and bride and groom in traffic backed up to 305. He didn’t have any intentions of making it right by giving them a partial refund, or even waiving the deposit. Instead, he offered to give them decorations or just a full refund to go somewhere else (with only 2 months notice, there’s definitely not going be be another venue available). The wedding party was planning on taking pictures outside. We have to weave through many people to get to a spot that seemed less crowded. Shania Twain “I feel like a woman” was being played by a live band outside during their ceremony. AND lastly, we scheduled rehearsal dinner which was incredibly difficult because there were people eating food and drinking wine for a class reunion in the space that we were supposed to practice. That’s all. Their wine and beer and atmosphere is very nice. I just would never recommend booking a wedding there unless you want...

What a surprise! The barn is an amazing charming atmosphere and the food, albeit lightweight, tastes amazing. It's also very keen of them to offer a healthy craft beer selection as an alternative.
Everything is order at the bar. Take drinks with you, and place a number placard on your table for food delivery. You can keep open a tab as they physically hold your card, or pay as you go.
We went right at opening (4pm) on a Saturday in August. There were storms on the horizon so all the table reservations were held inside. We were still able to get a nice table as walk ins. Actually it was a perfect table near the stage. Too bad we were way too early for the live music.
There were a couple of large groups celebrating birthdays in the back room by...
