I am going to sound like a Karen with this. That said, I'm pretty sure this is my first negative review ever. This McDonald's was absolutely terrible for customer service. First, my sister-in-law and our kids showed up after 11:00 a.m. The doors to the restaurant were locked. As other people joined us, they remained locked. They only opened after I called the restaurant. Then, the employee yells at people who come into the restaurant to order using the kiosks. The kiosks were buggy, losing an order, but still charging the credit card. When we stood in a line at the register, the employee yelled again for us to use the kiosks. When we said the kiosks were the problem, they rolled their eyes at us and helped us minutes later. Two individuals behind me didn't have credit cards. They were also given an attitude as well. A man came in with an incorrect order from the drive-thru. He too had to wait several minutes to have his issue addressed. I will say that the food was fine. My son's chicken nuggets were crisp, and the drink was cold. What more can you want than that? But, I'm going to keep this rant going. I don't know if the employees here are intrinsically jerks, management sucks, or if corporate leaves this location in a situation where they are continuously so short-staffed that this toxic environment was inevitable, but it was bad. Also, there was no self-serve station for sodas, napkins, or ketchup. Read moreDuring our visit at this particular McDonald's the drive-thru line was practically out to the street so we decided to go in. We went to the automated self-serve station placed our order. With the directions picked up our locator for our table got a receipt waited for our food to come. Approximately 10 minutes later my husband noticed that our food was not even up on the board stating that it was being prepped he walked up to the counter to inquire if they had gotten the order the manager snapped on him. He basically said wow turned around and walked away as we proceeded to sit there, again we had a locator number 50 for our table the manager proceeded to put our order up on the counter inside of a bag did not call it out and left it there. There were other people in the restaurant my husband wasn't sure if that was our order but as he notices he distinctively ordered a shake and there it sits, our order on the counter getting cold which was supposed to be delivered to our table. As he retrieves our order from the counter there happened to be a car sitting out by the doors waiting for his food which I'm sure he was asked to pull up and wait, this gentleman came in highly upset and sitting there for over 10 minutes as several cars were served through the drive-thru and they rolled away. Read moreWent through the drive thru at 630pm on a Thursday. The delivery semi was blocking the first lane, no big deal. I couldn't hear the person taking my order and they couldn't hear me well either, not the end of the world. Once they finally received my correct order, I paid, and got my food. I pulled up to check my bag. They had forgotten part of my order, happens. I pulled around to walk inside only to find that the lobby was locked. There were several customers inside but the doors were all locked. I knocked and waved but no employees would let me in. After several minutes a customer was leaving the lobby, I was going to use this as my chance to enter and get my missed food. An employee followed the customer out and tried to bar me from entering the lobby. She explained that they were just to busy to allow any more customers inside. There were less than ten people sitting at various tables and no one at the counter ordering. The drive thru wasn't that busy either. I wasn't aware that McDonald's had this policy about locking the lobby due to higher than normal order volume. I was appalled and shocked that they could do this. What if someone needed to use the restroom? Also the food wasn't very good. I wont be returning to this...
