Boomerang's Bar & Grille Inc — Restaurant in Hartley Township

This was our first visit to Boomerang's but it won't be our last! We really liked it! The food was great and the prices were very reasonable.

I had the Buffalo Chicken Pile Up; delicious chicken tenders in your choice of sauce (I went with mild and it was great!) Piled on top of fresh cut fries; my husband had the Texas Burger, an open face hamburger smothered with a bowl of chili. He also added the salad bar which is just your basic salad fixin's.

You can eat at the bar or in the dining room area. We ate in the dining room. It was spacious and well air conditioned for it being a heatwave and nicely decorated in a rustic barn door style.

I would make one mention that we had no cell phone service (we have Verizon phones) in the building or in the parking lot, and there was no free wifi. This was ok for us but could be an issue for some.

If I might make a suggestion to the owners... free wifi would be nice to provide so that if your customers need to check the whereabouts of the other members of their party or something they could at least use an app like Facebook Calling since there is no cell good cell phone service in the area.

For bikers, I noticed they had signs up for bike nights. I don't remember when they were but I'm sure you could call...

The other day my family and I went here for breakfast which was supposed to last until 11:30. We arrived right at 11, we sat down went to order and we were told we could not order breakfast because they had 5 more orders to finish. My mother is handicapped and it is not easy to get her out of the house,car, etc. This is not the first time we have been told we can't order breakfast because they were too busy, far behind, whatever. Later that day the owner had a post on facebook that claimed breakfast was served until 11:30 so I commented on the post of our experience. Instead of an apology(which is all I wanted) he deleted the comment. That tells me everything I need to know about him as a person and business owner. I have lost all respect for the owner and will steer clear from this place from now. We have had more bad experiences with this restaurant than good. Whether it's the excessive wait times we have waited for food for it to be messed up anyway or showing up within their scheduled times to be told we can't order what we came for. This comment will probably be deleted as well but rest assured I will continue to let people know about the negative experiences I've had with boomerangs...

This is one of the very few bars/restaurants in my area. The food is great. The prices are reasonable. There is a dinning side, a bar side, and a patio area. Each offers a very different atmosphere. The dining side is great for families. The bar side is great for those looking to down a few and eat some food. The patio is good for couples and smaller parties. In the back is a pool table and a couple PA Skills machines. They are open for breakfast, but I'm not sure if that's just a weekend thing or if it's everyday, but their breakfast is awesome. I tried their new pizza bites this last visit and they were surprisingly delicious and I'll be ordering them...
