The Burg — Restaurant in Hartsburg

My husband and i purchased tickets to the valentine dinner. We really didnt know what to expect since we had never been there and it was a very small town. To say we were pleasantly surprised is an understatement!!! The warmth of this place is off the charts as we were greeted by the owner herself, Kathy. The waitress staff never left us without refills on our drinks while taking numerous pictures of valentine couples. Then, there was the four course meal. I am a light eater, but i ate everybite and honestly thought about licking the plate!! We had toastees served with warm marinara sauce, a greek salad, i had the shrimp linguine, my husband had the bacon wrapped filet mignon, asparagus, mashed potatoes, and for dessert we enjoyed a heart shaped double fudge browine with chocolate covered strawberries. I lovvvve shrimp but never have i had such a tasteful plate of shrimp. My husbands steak was so tender and juicy. One of the few places to eat in Harrisburg and a real gem! Pretty standard bar food selection cooked well with friendly front of the house staff. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and beer cheese fries. Both were delicious. I ate my fill, but didn’t make a dent in the fries!
