#foodie #foodreview #deli #alabama if you’ve never tried this deli, you have to try it. It takes you back to the old days old school love this place love their food love the feel of the place as well. Prices aren’t too bad. This whole meal costed me around $16.50. If you’re in Alabama in Somerville, you have to check them out.

Stopped by on the way to Decatur, didn't know what to expect, but we were feeling adventurous! To our surprise, it was an amazing experience, food was excellent, overly generous portions, service was incredibly personable, we will make the hour long trip just to eat at Carl's Deli. I would nominate the Western omelet as the best anywhere. Seriously, you have got to try it.

Carl's Deli is one of those "hole-in-the-wall" type places that are gems in the rough. They concentrate on making food people want to eat and they tend to over-deliver! I ordered the club sandwich upon suggestion and wasn't quite prepared for the smorgasbord I found in the container. It took some effort, but I ate every messy, delicious bite!

18 wheeler trucks parked in front on the business blocks the view for those trying to on 67. This is going to result in someone getting hurt or killed because of the negligence of the truck drivers parking out here, told the owner of Carls deli and he didn’t seem to care. I guess they only care about the business and not the safety of those in the area that support said business. We won’t ever use that place as long as they allow truckers to ILLEGALLY park out front. Truckers like this also give them a bad name… hopefully they ban these lazy truckers from there but let’s be real the owner isn’t going to do anything....

I absolutely love to go out to Carl's and have breakfast, although trying to decide which type of gravy used to cause me a little stress UNTIL I figured out to just go on and get em all :) If you are ever lucky enough to be there when Carl is frying up the frog legs for lunch I would strongly recommend that you just go on and get an order. They are delicious!!! Home fries are another of my favorites. Just go on in have a seat and enjoy the company of everyone there. You're likely to make a few new friends or run into a couple...

Don't go there! Order my food and 2 other "regulars" came in; their food for them was cooked and served before me. Ordered the porkchop plate with biscuits and gravy. Porkchop was way to salty and gravy had lumps and dry chunks. All I could taste on the porkchop was salt. Looked like most food not cooked on the grill came from chef mic-ro-wave! Unless you are a regular the waitress takes your order and...
