Beaver Street Cafe — Restaurant in Hastings

Was working at Miners Hospital recently & my partner & I were hungry, but didn’t want to stop working, to go eat, so we ordered a couple burgers & fries to go. Honestly, i had the bacon cheeseburger & from the first bite to the last....it was delicious. Only a single patty, but the whole burger was very good & the condiments were fresh, crisp & just plain delicious. My buddy’s custom burger was the same way. He loved it. The salad was alright. The chips were stale in the taco salad, I simply just picked them out. It was a good size, but not really worth the price. I'll never understand how anyone can charge so much for a salad that is mostly iceberg lettuce. I'm gonna try again while I'm in town, hopefully things will improve! Edit: I went back. Cheap Eats, Nothing Special. Ordered the Beaver Street burger, and tho it was served quickly, the bun was soggy from relish/pickle juice, and fell apart. Burger itself was dry. German chocolate cake w/peanut butter frosting was dry & icing didn't have any flavor. Chicken Pot Pie was made from chicken base, not home-made, so it was pretty salty. If you're really hungry, or cheap, this place will do in a pinch, otherwise, skip it & try the Pirate's Cove near Glendale, or Island BBQ in...
