My partner and I stopped by the Cantina for dinner. The Mexican food here is great! It's authentic and so tasty! They have a good and varied menu, enchiladas, tacos, nachos, chimmies! I had the shrimp tacos, Verde, which were delicious and my partner had beef tacos, Verde, which he thoroughly enjoyed! They are a bar with alcoholic beverages and of course, Margaritas! We both had a passion fruit aqua fresca, divine, and will tame the heat! The atmosphere is rustic Mexican, with beautiful, hand carved and painted, booths, tables and chairs, made in Mexico! The air is fiesta! Colorful and fun! The service was good, wait time, short. We had ordered takeout many times before physically visiting and the food is excellent either way. Also, we got many very good recommendations for the Cantina from family and friends. I recommend this place highly, for food, service and atmosphere!

I recently ate at Cantina in Hatfield and was impressed. Cantina has only been open for a week. The food was great. I felt it was a cross between Mi Tierra and Mission Cantina. It was an authentic simple menu served with rice and beans. The presentation was great like mission cantina. The nachos were simple but great. The enchilada and chimichonga were great and the extra for the guacamole was worth it. A pro and a con was for now it is BYOB. Bring your drinks! They will probably have their liquor license in a couple months so come prepared. The music was great but the lighting was a little too bright for my liking. Check it out so it stays here longer than the other restaurants that have tried to make it here.

Today my mom and I stopped in for a late lunch, around 2pm. Completely unaware that they don’t open until 4pm. We walk in and were greeted and then told they don’t open for another 2 hours. I’m going to assume they saw defeat in our eyes and told us they were already prepped for the day and ready to serve. They offered to cook for us anyways. Not only did they show us amazing kindness and great food but as always fabulous service. What they didn’t know is my dad’s been in the hospital for days and we have been making daily trips to Springfield. We were fatigued and they were amazingly kind. Thank you again and see you soon!

This rustic piece of transplanted Mexico was basically full, less one table, when we walked in. And it was still the fastest service I've had in a restaurant in a while. When we placed our order the waitress asked if we wanted some of the hotter salsa which we got as well. It was a delicious salsa verde which I haven't had in this part of country. The regular salsa was also excellent. Not your usual flavor combination. You will remember both after you try them. We had a burrito bowl and an enchilada, which were both great, and partially came home with us. I mentioned to the waitress that I thought other salsa was actually sweeter than hot. "So you want the hot stuff," she says. She goes to the kitchen and emerges with a thimble full of orange liquid being held at arm's length. (I think she meant to grab protective gear but forgot it in the kitchen.) Other staff moved closer as I dipped a chip. This habanero salsa was actually pretty tasty with a slow burn that heats up your mouth just short of requiring medical attention. I think I can cross the hot salsa off my bucket list, but we will be back to sample more...

I have been here numerous times since they opened and I have to admit, the food is absolutely fantastic. I have tried almost everything on the menu and the only thing I didnt care for was the Mole. Don't take just my word for it though, two of my buddies tried it and they absolutely loved it! The only complaint I have is that it's just a lil too pricey. Maybe if the meals were $2-3$ cheaper, or if they gave you some more food with your meal, it may seem like a better deal. Like I said, I can't complain about the food at all, or the service, or the atmosphere lol. Me and my daughter went there last night and we got two Chimichangas and an order of chips and salsa. Only water to drink and with a tip I spent $45+. I just don't like leaving a restaurant after eating dinner and driving home thinking to myself... I'm...
