Disappointed Experience Despite Great Atmosphere – Res al Fuego
The place definitely has a cool vibe, great music, stylish decor, and lots of photo-worthy spots. It really felt like a Texas-style steakhouse. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the atmosphere.
We were especially disappointed with the steaks. Several of us ordered medium rare or medium, but the doneness was completely off and the orders got mixed up. When you're paying steakhouse prices, you'd expect them to get that right.
To make matters worse, one of the majados had a piece of plastic in it, the kind used to seal a bag of potatoes. Not something you want to find on your plate. The manager was apologetic, adjusted the bill, and promised to send a discount link for a future visit, but we never received it even though we provided our phone numbers.
We also requested a high chair for our baby and waited the entire time without ever getting one.
That said, the servers were amazing—super attentive and friendly. Definitely 20/10 service from them, but unfortunately it’s not enough to make up for the rest. We won’t...

Service: maybe because the rush and having so many customers the customer service upon arrival was not the best. They would not greet you, hard to identify the employee and where to sign up for a table, when the hostess was found didn’t even look at customers. They need a bigger hostess team and signage that identifies the hostess area. The restaurant doesn’t take reservations by phone is a first come basis.
Atmosphere: Was super cool, looks amazing. Is a farm and the decor invites you to enjoy with the family.
Will try to visit again soon not on a holiday because is too crowded. But looks like is that good that people from all over comes...
Read moreWe ordered a medium rare ribeye cuz I had a bad feeling and it came out blue, we asked for the waitress to please change it and when they brought it back it was cooked by the area we had cut and the rest was STILL blue term. They changed it for some ribs and didn’t offer a minimal discount, just gave us our food to go and gave us our check. The waitress gave us side eyes and most of the management kept staring at us so we felt awkward and left. Not recommending nor coming back, sadly. Stakehouse name with no knowledge on the proper temperatures or cooking times. Also don’t recommend drinking wine from their cups, they clean them...
