My husband and I went here and both were looking forward to this place! Based on the reviews and things we thought we found the place! But sadly we were disappointed. We ordered four different things. Pad thai, garlic shrimp, pad ki moow, and papaya salad. We tried everything so far and wasn't impressed. When we ordered to go we smelled all the spices and things and it smelled so good! But the taste was just not there. Another off putting thing was I wanted to drink Thai Tea and she told me "no" due to me having my son. She told me if I drink Thai Tea, it will keep my son up at night. So she won't allow me to order it.. Sure I get it but, I feel that regardless if the customer wants something you should allow them. I wish we could have experienced all the good things like everyone else but nope. I didn't. I give them 2 stars because the lady was nice, the place itself was nice as well, but just the food didn't taste the way I'd imagined. And the customer service was okay. Sad I didn't get to try the Thai tea. Plus I've had some really authentic Thai cuisine before, this didn't feel...

I’ve been on Oahu for 5 days now and I almost lost faith in the local cuisine. I patronized several eateries recommended to me by friends (many of whom were locals at one point) and each one could be described as “just alright.”

Now, this wasn’t a giant disappointment as I didn’t come to the island for the food - I came for everything else. So when I happened upon Nui Thai, my hopes for enjoying an outrageously delicious meal had been all but dashed...I can safely say that after devouring several of Nui’s authentic thai dishes, my hope in finding a mind-blowing meal here has been fully restored.

The savory flavors of each dish came together in an absolute symphony of tang and spice. Nui, the maestro, has the deftest of hands when it comes to unlocking the door to flavor profiles I didn’t know existed. It’s obvious she has been perfecting her craft for many years.

I’m only glad I have at least half of my trip left to make a return trip (or two) to this humble truck, where Nui makes...

Nui's is not just dinner out it's dinner at a friend or family member's home. Of course you have to order and pay but The experience is Great! Not only is the location beautiful but the food is fresh, cooked to order by Nui herself, and feelsand tastelike real home cooking which is something you crave when on vacation being catered to in a peaceful beautiful location. we were the only diners there at he time but I could tell that Nui's is a local favorite. People kept coming by to pick up their dinner and large orders and they all knew Nui on a first name basis.

We were served our food all portions were huge, delicious and under $10 which is hard to come by in Oahu.

I recommend the curry and an experience at this beautiful little...

Hands down the best food that we have eaten in Oahu. I almost turned around and tried something else, but I'm so glad that I didn't. We paid $28 for three entrees that our young family of five could not even finish. (Even though we wanted to!) If I would have paid double I would have been totally thrilled. Food on Oahu can be pricey, so we couldn't believe that we ate the best quality food for the cheapest price yet. Fresh, insanely delicious, food. I would eat here every day. A little extra drive from mainstream North Shore eats, but you will be glad you went. The pad thai and the curry were amazing. The fried rice was filled with fresh vegetables and cooked to perfection. There should be a line down the street.

We finally had a chance to try this place after driving by so many times. We visited on a Saturday around 1145. We ordered spring rolls, pad Thai, and pad kee mao. The pad Thai was unlike any I’d ever had. It didn’t have a lot of sauce but the flavor was amazing. It had some crunchy bits, and a decent amount of chicken. It did have some fatty pieces of chicken which was kind of ewww, but I easily overlooked it because it was so good. Pad kee mao also amazing, best one we’ve had central/north area of Oahu. Food is very reasonably priced and large portions. Ambience is ehh, you have to eat outside at the tables near the parking area. Oversell, I’d recommend. We will go again, for sure.

I really wanted to fall in love with this place. The pictures made it look really yummy. The cashier was kind. Unfortunately, the pad Thai severely disappointed. It tasted very dry, not enough sauce. There were no peanuts, no carrots, no bean sprouts, and no lime at all at this establishment. The cabbage on the side was not traditional. I have never eaten pad Thai with lemon before…. Same with Thai tea, they served it with lemon which I ended up wasting. Think there needs to be a rethink with the recipe and ingredients. $20 for this… Also if you’re vegetarian, make sure to specify. I just ordered the pad Thai and they put chicken in it, had to pick it out
