If I had to choose my last meal on earth, it’s coming from here. This isn’t just my favorite place to eat on Maui, this is my favorite place to eat ON THE PLANET. The. Entire. Planet.

Sure, great place to stop on the road to Hana… But eating here is a reason to visit Maui in and of itself. Like, the Maui board of travel and tourism should list Rainbow Kitchen as a not-to-miss destination. I don’t care what part of the island you’re on… drive there. breakfast, lunch, snacks… doesn’t matter… Whatever you get here is going to be the absolute best thing you’ll have all day.

Yes this is plant-based. But it’s incredible. And incredible food is for EVERYONE. (I mean, guacamole is vegan and no one is turning that down!) Don’t let the plant-based part throw you off because everything here is not only good for you, it’s some of the best stuff you’ll ever eat.

My favorite things here are the breakfast burrito and the Dream Creams. But seriously, pick anything off the menu because you CANNOT go wrong. (I’ve worked my way through the entire thing!) And if the McMuffin is on the list of specials do not sleep on it. It’s CRAZY good.

Pro tip: Don’t just order what you think you want in the moment… prepare for how badly you’re going to want more later and order extra. Go for breakfast, buy your lunch and dinner. Seriously.

And if you happen to be there on the rare occasion when Aliyas has made her insane homemade banana bread… buy it. All of it. Like, every piece she has...

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! My partner and I were craving some “good for your soul” food and luckily pulled over on the side of the road to Rainbow Kitchen! Both of our jaws were dropped as we looked through the menu overwhelmed with all of the excellent choices. Their use of medicinal mushrooms and healthy, homemade ingredients in each menu item ensured that we would feel amazing after our lunch. We were lucky enough to meet Talitha (the woman behind the magic ingredients) and her husband Ted who also owns this family owned business. Their sweet daughter was also there making us feel right at home! We felt lucky to connect with them and support such kind and loving people. Nothing but positive energy from rainbow kitchen! Truly was the best food I have Had on the island and the price was reasonable which is not always the case. We are so grateful to have stopped when we did and we will go out of our way to stop at rainbow kitchen again next time we are in Maui!...

Stumbled upon a hidden vegan gem on our Saturday trip! We happened to stop here on our dedicated vegan day—and wow, what a place! Holly molly... I was seriously impressed. The food presentation was beautiful, packed with fresh herbs, vibrant salads, perfectly balanced protein and carbs. It's a true gem on the North Shore of Maui 💎.

A MUST-MUST-MUST TRY if you're anywhere nearby!

The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, with cozy outdoor seating in the back. I even saw a live moringa plant for the first time—and there were so many of them! 🌿

Their energy and immunity booster shots looked amazing too. I didn’t try them this time, but I’m definitely going for it on my next visit.
