Northwoods Pub & Grub — Restaurant in Hawes Township

So the husband and I went here last night for the first time since new owners to check it out and try to save the night after a horrible experience at shot makers. This place is great!!! We walked in, was greeted by staff and then invited to sit and play cards. Three staff not only knows how to make an excellent drink but both the service and prices were phenomenal!!! This place is warm, inviting, clean, and a real bar!!! Met the new owners, they were great, very welcoming with great taste in music!! Got drinks ina decent amount of time. Food took 45 mins to get and it wasn’t very busy there. Appetizer came with our meal instead of before like a normal appetizer. The cheese balls were over cook in the deep fryer. We had some burgers and wings. Both burgers were ordered medium rare. One came correct and the other was well done and dried out. Have had good experiences in the past and the food we got was good but we walked in at 7:15 and ordered by 7:30. We got drinks right away and didn’t receive our food for over an hour. A couple of gals in our party had the chicken wraps which were also great but only had a very small portion of fries and were told they would get some more fries when they cooked but this did not materialize.
