This restaurant, on the grounds of a golf course, was an absolute great surprise. They were quite handy to where we were staying and so we went there after a long day on the road just to get some food. Instead we found a gem with extremely good service by quite friendly staff and a couple excellent meals. I had the patty melt which was as good as any I have had and my wife went for the all you can eat fish since it happened to be a Friday and it was a special. The initial helping was quite large, the service for the refill was quite fast, and the food was quite excellent. All four of us loaded up for the 45 minute drive,verified the hours on Google open till 9:00. Drove all the way out there and o'clmade sevenit by 7pm andon a Friday, and they're closed 45 minute drive each way down the drain no notice on the website or Google that they're closed for the season or closed for the night won't be making the trip back again, what a waste of time ,even called the phone number no voicemail saying they're closed for the season no option to leave a message nobody answered the phone. Read moreI can’t believe this is one of the lower rated restaurants at Hubbard Lake. The food is phenomenal. I swear they make just about everything in house and it’s so tasty. I’ve had the chicken tenders (best I’ve ever had), the turkey Reuben and a pasta (can’t remember the name but it had a creamy champagne sauce). So good. The service is great.
