Guzzo BakeHouse — Restaurant in Haworth

I can't express enough how amazing our experience was with Guzzo's Bakehouse, especially the manager Jolanta and her entire team!

We hosted my daughter's 2nd birthday here, and every single detail was beyond superb. From the moment we walked in, the team made us feel like family. The atmosphere was cozy, charming, and just perfect for a little one's special day.

The cake--wow! It was not only beautiful, but the taste was out of this world. The flavors were spot-on, and it was decorated to perfection with all of our daughter's favorite characters. Every guest raved about it, and there wasn't a crumb left by the end of the party!

The staff went above and beyond, helping us set up and ensuring everything ran smoothly. They were so attentive and friendly, making sure every little detail was taken care of so we could focus on celebrating.

The entire experience was seamless, stress-free, and full of joy. I highly recommend Guzzo's for any special occasion--whether it's a birthday, brunch, or just a sweet treat for yourself. We'll definitely be returning for future celebrations!

I just left this bakery/diner/coffee shop and feel compelled to write a review. Not because of the super friendly service, the huge variety of baked goods, or the very well documented tastiness of their food.

It was their management’s attention to detail & commitment towards “putting the customer first” that left me in awe. I ordered a really basic to-go order: BEC on fresh Italian bread and a spinach salad (I later added a pizza square and cheddar biscuit because the displays looked so good). The owner or manager spot checked my order - and actually gave direction to the kitchen to add more greens to my salad. When was the last time a restaurant sent your food back to ensure you had more food? Although a small act of quality control, it’s obvious they care about their customers having the best experience possible - even on a very generic take out order.

Due to the age of some of the staff, I’m assuming it’s a family owned business. I can’t think of a better small/neighborhood business to support - and I recommend everyone trying for themselves. I guarantee their unique menu will have something that...

Oh my yum!!!! We truly enjoyed our brunch experience at Guzzo's! We got the Sunrise board with croissants, pancakes, challah French toast, berries, bacon and sausage. They were very busy and the owner brought us a cinnamon roll while we waited. It was the best I've ever had! It was just the right balance of sweet without being too rich. It was actually light & airy, which I've never experienced with any other cinnamon roll. The charcuterie board, everything was perfect! By no means is this a criticism, I felt the board would have benefitted from some sort of fruit preserves to spread on the croissants. There was definitely more than enough food on the board for the 2 of us. Bob finished half the board, more for the challenge of it than not being full. I took home what was left and look forward to enjoying another breakfast. Somethings seemed too good to pass up so we took home a couple of things to enjoy later, a blueberry meltaway and warm and rustic bread with cheeses & berries. We definitely enjoyed the feast for our eyes in the pastry displays. We will definitely go back again and try...
