You definitely want to stop for this awesome place! My wife and I have been driving up and down the 95 between Carson City and Boulder City for years and have always thought about checking it out but always assumed it was a local's only kind of place and one that only served drinks. Well, we finally decided to pop in and now, we're kind of kicking ourselves for not doing it sooner. Yes, they serve drinks, have a full bar but they also serve surprisingly good food including pizzas and sharables and all of it is reasonably priced if not on the cheap side and especially for kind of being out in the middle of nowhere. On our visit, we got pepperoni pizza, mozzarella sticks and jalapeno poppers and all were hot and tasty. The establishment has a cool bar feel, really clean restrooms and Brandi, the manager/bartender was super nice and friendly and full of knowledge about the area. As in, if you're out this way to do some off-roading/exploring, she's the gal you want to talk to about where to go and what to check out. When you stop in and you really should, be sure to play their Shake a Shift which is a dice roll game that plays like poker and helps to raise money for their fireworks. Of course, if you get 5 of a kind, you win to the pot and 4 of a kind or a full house will get you a free drink. Sure, this is the only really place to stop between the town of Hawthorne and Tonopah but that's not why you should drop in - you should do it because it's such a cool place.

Funky roadside bar with hot food, snacks and cold beer. A couple of tvs on the wall, a pool table and a juke box. The service was great and super friendly, this is an awesome place for a bite and a brew on your road trip through the desert.

Nice and quiet bar, with an unsuspecting exterior. Really great bartender. Would highly recommend to stop by here if you are passing through. Make sure to do the $1 Yahtzee gamble to try to win the pot!

This young family is doing it right! I parked across the street with my semi and my 10 hours were up at 7:00 a.m. And they didn't open till 9:00. But I chose to stay two extra hours so that I can have yummy, fresh homemade food instead of some corporate deep fried crap. I'm so glad I made the choice. Their breakfast burrito was giant and delicious and their strawberry shake cooled off the...

I haven't been in many years but I spent a part of every single summer with Willie Wolf and grandpa Harry since I was 4. Willie would sneak me beer (root beer). The old bar caught fire one year and burned mostly all the way to the ground and that really had a hard impact on the community so it warms my heart to see the old place still...
