3 Wire Bar & Grill Restaurant — Restaurant in Hayden

Rude! Stopped in for a bite before our flight and had a very unpleasant experience. Restaurant was not busy. There were three people working- A grumpy bartender in a "cowboy" hat, an unhappy waitress (large framed light brown skin) who refused to wait on us and the saving grace, a petite blonde waitress maybe in her 50's who picked up the slack and served us after the other waitress refused. This place is the only sit down restaurant at the Hayden Airport so I guess they think they have a captive audience and can treat people poorly if they so choose. I emailed manager to express my dissatisfaction , but no reply as of today. Our replacement waitress explained that the other waitress had broken glass in the ice and was reluctantly having to drain and replace the ice in the bin, yet we watched her wait on others around us so we can only assume she had some other bias. The food was ok, but the the bad treatment in the beginning set my day and my experience at the Hayden airport off to a bad start. I would recommend food before the airport or if you are flying eat inside the TSA area which I also visited and had a pleasant experience and...

For airport food, this place was pretty good. Service was good considering the place was slammed when I got there for lunch. The Cheese Burger was good, and pictures show it has great presentation. The fries were crisp and hot. The bun and veggies on the burger were great, but the burger itself was simply grilled with no char or much taste. The meat was cooked correctly. The price is a little high but not for the airport. I would recommend trying this, but it is best to show up like 1pm since 11-12 is overloaded...

located inside of Yampa airport right next to departure TSA check-in. it's the last really restaurant before entering inside TSA. We stopped by here for some drinks and light bites before entering TSA since we were fairly early to our flight. Our service was Amy Lewis, and she was amazing! She was so cheerful, kind, and attentive! They were also really fast to put in and deliver our order which is great if you don't have alot of time before your flight.
