Scooter’s Airport Bar — Restaurant in Hayes Township

Stopped in to have an early dinner and a couple cold beers. Place was not very busy but there are only about 8 chairs at bar and a couple table near bar, other tables are across Dance floor, I was stuck sitting at a table across dance floor, so for the conveince of bar maid I walked to bar to order a beer and get a menu for food, I was shocked that even though I wanted to order food bar maid made me pay for the beer before I could walk away from bar and return to my table and look at menu, I showed her I had cash and told her I wanted to order food and she still insisted I pay for beer before walking away from bar. Ok, I may not be a local at this bar but I have drank and had food at thousands of bars over the years and never forced to pay for a beer on the spot. I guess you didn't want my 30+ dollars for some food, I drank my beer and went elsewhere, and even though I have lived in this town for 30yrs I will not be back!! Keep your 6.00 16oz drafts too.. hope you go out...

Honestly, this was our first time ever coming here on Tuesday June 15th 2021 and we had such high hopes because of everyone telling us to go here and we live so close and we had an awful experience. My best friend and I ordered food and the bartender lady complained to us that we ordered to much and was very rude to us about it. I didn’t know that was a thing when you are getting paid for it. Never had that happen anywhere I’ve ever ate. Very rude. I hope the other bartenders here are kind but the lady tonight was awful and I didn’t catch her name because she wouldn’t even talk to us without being snarky. Hope everyone else has a better...

The first time visiting this place was Monday. The first waitress was great and friendly and interduced herself.She kept up with her customers. Drink's was 3.00 dollars and I was looking forward to visiting again. That visit was today the 23rd...Wasn't very happy with this service from a waitress that didn't even tell us her name..Drinks we're 3.50 and I was drinking the same as Monday..She was more interested in her phone and hanging out at the end of the bar with one customer. Not sure if I will return for...
