sakura sushi & hibachi — Restaurant in Hazlehurst

HORRIBLE, we ate there 1 time take out, husband was on phone ith me and told the girl who was taking order NO MUSHROOMS, BECAUSE OF SEVERE ALLERGY. He told them at least 5 times about the allergy and no MUSHROOMS on either order. He asked for his vegetables on the side with no mushrooms and we got a bowl of vegetables with bunches of mushrooms. He brought food home and I took 2 bites and my tongue and lips started to go numb, the went to go take another bite and what did I find MUSHROOMS. And my throat started to close up. I ended up having to take 2 epi pen shots at $900.00 each. And a severe headache because of the epi pen shots for 2 days. The lady we spoke to that night stated she would replace both meals next time we came in and would make sure that no MUSHROOMS were in our food. We went back and they refused to replace our meals, because the receipt was no longer hanging there on counter, but only offered to do 1 meal and not both. It's a shame to finally get a new restaurant in town and they were very irresponsible in making our orders. And very rude when we went back to give them a second chance. I will continue to drive to Baxley now and go to Kobes. Much better food, service, atmosphere and always make sure to prepare our food carefully and the food is...

Was out of town and wanted some Japanese food and they were the only ones not busy… I see why now; when you go in ordering food and next thing you know you’re getting some extra protein that you didn’t ask for to join your plate (roach), never a pleasant experience. I killed the roach, brought it to the lady working the register and all she did was say “ew that’s gross” but didn’t once offer to remake or even refund a portion of my money. Lost my appetite as well as the people I was with, we all discarded the rest of our food and drinks! I ensured that I didn’t make a scene so that way they didn’t lose any further business but I’ll make sure I won’t be...

Southern hospitality is not dead! I had walked to this restaurant from a nearby rv park in 95 degree heat...very hot and sweaty when I arrived. I ordered and then realized I had left my wallet in the rv! I'm sure I looked devastated....the young woman server instantly said. "Don't worry about it, we'll pay! Wow...wouldn't happen back home in florida. I called back when I had my card and they wouldn't take payment...just told me to accept the blessing. Eat here and reward these folks. Btw, food...
