Dari — Restaurant in Hebron

The experience was less than favorable. We walked up to the window trying to place an order but the cashier just closed the screen on us and acted like we weren't even in front of her. Very discouraging as our first visit was great I think we had met the owner. But the cashier today was just plain rude and disrespectful. She didn't even greet us or acknowledge us at all, even though we were right in front of her at the window. once again she slammed the screen shut in front of us as to say or insinuate that they didn't want to serve us. Needless to say we will never be coming back here again! there's plenty of places in this world that we can go where we will be serviced and treated like human beings unfortunately daris didn't provide...

Stopped here last night coming back from a day trip to Lake Geneva. I ordered the Tuna Melt with Cajun Cheese Fries and it was absolutely delicious! I absolutely was amazed on how affordable everything was on the menu. The food was fresh and made to order and the service was phenomenal! The employees where friendly. I always driven past Dari to get to Lake Geneva growing up because my grandparents lived in Lake Geneva and never stopped to grab food sadly. But the wait was well worth it! I am from the western suburbs of Chicago, IL. I wish my town would have a little restaurant like this because I would be eating there often. Hebron, IL is definitely lucky to have this little hidden gem...

At the urging of a friend, I ordered a Chicago Dog for the first time. It was absolutely delicious. I ordered a second. My friend told me that it was missing the bun being a sesame seed bun. I am sure that would help, but for my first time, I am loving this thing called a Chicago Dog.

Now on to reviewing Dari's. It is a little corner ice cream and hot dog shop where you walk up to the window. Seating is two tables along the side. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The food and ice cream were both delicious. I had gotten a twist cone after my food.
