I am beyond disappointed in Georgia's. We used to be regulars, eating there sometimes 2-3 times a week. Today, October 2nd my boyfriend called in a very simple order for boneless wings and French fries the wings being half mild half BBQ. We have placed this exact order numerous times in the past. Today the server became argumentative and told him they no longer do the wings like that and told him they don't do a 6 piece anymore. Confused, he asked for all of the sauce on the side. Once he got there he checked the menu and saw the boneless wings only come in a 6 piece and when he opened the container he saw that they were not boneless so told the person checking him out that it wasn't the correct item. The person who took his order said she didn't hear him say boneless then all of a sudden the cook from the back started yelling at him. My boyfriend said he wanted to still place an order for boneless and was told to come back in 40 minutes, he paid for the order and was getting in the car to run an errand. The cook chased him outside and told him not to come back. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? We literally gave this place so much business and because of a misunderstanding over an order of wings you are going to tell us not to come back? Absolutely not okay and you for sure lost any...
Read moreFood is average. Wayyy too expensive and unreasonably priced food. I wouldnât have wrote this review if the lobster roll or the pizza we received made up for it (see photos). $48 for a small pizza, lobster roll and 2 sodas. $14 pizza, $23 for lobster roll (what!?) and $3 for ea. soda! And, we got a sad looking pan pizza like the kind you get at Pizza Hut. Lobster roll was mostly claws.
Also, I think the owner or relatives have been helping them with their fake reviews as they are all similar. But a few people have already complained. Not to mention, the building looks poorly maintained and nothing like the picture on google maps.
They have no main sign on the actual building, their cheap 1/4â plastic signs on the roof is broken off, and thereâs a bunch of mismatched plastic signs on the walls everywhere. Just an overall cheap look. Food prices are fine dining tho. They are just contradictory.
Hopefully they can redeem themselves by renovating and cleaning up the face of the building and add some decent signage, remove the broken and cheap ones, and oh yea, hire people that are attentive. Waited outside and had to go in to ask for our food. Probably pay their workers minimum wage if I...
Read moreI have eaten here several times and ordered pizza to go many times. The food is good when it is good and below average when it is not. The same is true of the pizza and that is why I can only give 3 stars. Even 3 stars is a stretch.
The probelm is the food is not consistent. The menu is interesting with a few standout items. When they are well prepared they are quite good but the norm is to overcook most of the food. When they are busy, it is often beyond overcooked, it is nearly burnt. Sadly and horribly it seems they serve it anyway! Why?
The implication is they either don't know the dish or pizza is way overcooked or they just can't bring themselves to do a do-over unless you complain. I refuse to believe they don't care.
Having some background in the restaurant business I cannot understand this. Georgia's has unrealized potential. The menu is interesting and they occasionally get it right.
If the food was consitenlty as good as it is when it is at its best, I would eat here often. It is nearby and they prices are reasonable for what it can be. Unfortunately for me, they are high for what it...
